Download or read book But We See Jesus written by Stephen Kaung and published by Christian Fellowship Publishers. This book was released on 2016-11-16 with total page 399 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Christianity is Jesus Christ. It is not the teaching, doctrine, system or organization of Christ. Rather, it is Jesus Christ himself. We need to see Him as God sees Him. Yet this can only come about by revelation from above. The Holy Spirit will reveal Jesus to us. And when we do see Him as God sees Him, we will fall down and worship. Such, then, is the intent of this series of messages, whose overarching theme is best summed up in the author’s choice of title to the entire series: “But We See Jesus” (Hebrews 2:9a). All nineteen messages were delivered by the author before a Christian audience in Richmond, Virginia over a three-year period, commencing in the year 1992. May God use this volume to inspire His people to see the Savior and Lord we have so that we may truly worship Him with all our hearts and love Him with all our heart, mind, will and strength. Jesus alone is worthy!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from The Life of the Lord Jesus Christ: A Complete Critical Examination of the Origin, Contents, and Connection of the Gospels It had been determined in the counsel of God that an honourable burial should be prepared for the deceased Prince of men; and in order to realize this decree, the motives and feelings which actuated the Jews were made to co-operate in the most remarkable manner with the inmost wishes of believers. The Jews could not but feel an urgent desire to have the bodies of the crucified taken down and buried before evening, at which time the Sabbath commenced. It was against the law, in its general terms, to let bodies remain all night upon the tree (Deut. xxi. 22, 23); and in this case there was also the special consideration, that the next day was the Sabbath, and that Sabbath-day was a high day (John xix. 31). They could not bear the thought that the bodies should remain hanging upon the cross during the greatest day of the feast.
