I dont want it revealed until they read that first poem and hopefully will use that eighth wonder to find the other wonders of the world, then read the rest of The Ninth Wonder of the World exercising their eighth wonder. Poetry is so personal it is hard to convince readers to take the time to feel the words not just read them. The Eighth Wonder of the World presents something we all possess and dont realize its value. The Eighth Wonder of the World presents something we all possess and don’t realize its value. So for this fifth book, The Twelfth Wonder of the World, to resonate with the buyer/reader, a love of poetry will initially be the reason it sells. After that, it will be the value to each reader as they capitalize on the wonders we all possess. The series of Wonders of the World poems are to relate all humans on Earth to a common denominator. The mind (eight wonder) and the soul (ninth wonder) are our human metaphysical commonalties, whereas the heart (tenth wonder) and the brain (the eleventh wonder) are physical commonalities to all of us as individuals. And finally, the spirit (twelfth wonder), our infinite energy, is what each of us are metaphysically, for the infinite trip from here to there, the final wonder.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Words, expression and relationships give me the opportunity to connect with someone I will never meet. There are 1,025, 109 words in the English language ... I have only used 80,182 of those words, in 14,792 paragraphs in 22,987 lines. Some rhyme and or form prose designed to put forth a different way of looking at my past situation and reflect on truth or dare in living our life. Jerry L. Rhoads, CPA , CEO All-American Care of Muscatine and Washington, 2002 Cedar Street Muscatine, Iowa 52761 Over the years I have contemplated publishing the poems but always put it off due to a lack of time to translate from paper to digital those thoughts of thirty years past. I have found not one poem dated because they reflected words spoken from my head that focuses on the ideas of times and events that never really change ... just mature, evolve and reoccur if you are to have memories that mean anything. Love, religion, war, peace, work and play all are never going to age just the mode of expression. Today I still have those in 12 three ring binders on yellowing stock and use them to trigger my editing and writing skills into this book. The material is overwhelming since there are about 2,500 poems. Every conceivable word that I saw along the road on billboards, road signs, advertisements, business signs, or heard, etc. triggered a poem onto tape then onto paper. Today I am to converting these to a digital format so I can capture the thoughts and evolve these rough drafts into many more books. I have tried to make the organization somewhat topical focusing on the better material, in my artistic opinion ... yours will by nature be different and that is the power of the written word. My intention in triggering topics and titles is not unconventional but does challenge the reader to believe I know that much about words and very little about conventional poetry. So if you like or dislike the ideas and use of the English language that kept me occupied over 1 million miles in my car so be it.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The premier of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony in Vienna on May 7, 1824, was the most significant artistic event of the year—and the work remains one of the most precedent-shattering and influential compositions in the history of music. Described in vibrant detail by eminent musicologist Harvey Sachs, this symbol of freedom and joy was so unorthodox that it amazed and confused listeners at its unveiling—yet it became a standard for subsequent generations of creative artists, and its composer came to embody the Romantic cult of genius. In this unconventional, provocative book, Beethoven’s masterwork becomes a prism through which we may view the politics, aesthetics, and overall climate of the era. Part biography, part history, part memoir, The Ninth brilliantly explores the intricacies of Beethoven’s last symphony—how it brought forth the power of the individual while celebrating the collective spirit of humanity.

Book excerpt: If you haven’t learnt about how to preserve your happiness, then you haven’t learnt anything in life F a o : Teens and the Parents of Teens. FOR YOUR OWN HAPPINESS IN LIFE, YOU MUST NOT HARM NEURONES. Who has ever been successful in life without reading important books? This book is not to read only but to understand the important stuff in life. It emanates a good sense of humour but makes you feel calmer at the end. It aims to uphold your happiness while making you aware of the dangers. This book is reserved for our children at a time where the rate of mental health sufferings is rising around the world. Please help yourself in protecting the children’s mental health and well-being. Children represent the future of the world. One in 4 adults and 1 in 10 children are suffering from mental health problems at present; so we must act on now to prevent it spreading further. Nip trauma in bud. Prevention is the best treatment. Every parent wants to see their child prosper and succeed in life. Every child has got his or her dream to enjoy life. This is entirely possible when a child has not been emotionally damaged. When things go wrong despite good intentions, both the parents and children will not experience success and happiness in life. When a child is harmed, happiness disappears from the family. Misery and sorrow will persist in the life of a child victim when ‘hope’ is dashed into smithereens by a wrongful behaviour of someone known or unknown to the child. This book is here to raise awareness of the important mental health issues in a child’s life. Knowledge is medicine. This book is a prophylactic medicine in the prevention of a child’s mental health sufferings. Therefore, not only a child should take knowledge from this book but also a responsible parent should feed the child with all the ‘contents’ of this book at the same time. This book (volumes I and II) aims to ward off sufferings of a child in relation to mental health. A sustained state of mental well-being is essential for every child to succeed and enjoy life. Effective learning comes with laughter. Learning is fun. This book is entirely free from jargon. It is based on scientific advances and useful to woo all societies. This book contains humour palatable to the young minds as well as several educational photos for the readers. It contains exotic lullabies, tickling jokes along with chuckling bed-time reads designed to bring a positive change in a child’s life in relation to Mental Health. It has stuff that works with children. It is unique. Volume II explains the dangers of Obesity, Alcohol use and abuse of Sex. The importance of Self-esteem is explained. A great deal of effort has been made to explain the Stigma of mental illness and its implications in life. Chapter 18 has been devoted to explain ‘life’ as a vehicular allegory. Every young mind should understand this article on life compared with a moving vehicle. ‘Attention/concentration difficulties’ and ‘Autism type of difficulties’ are well explained, because it’s very important for all children to have a basic knowledge of these conditions. The importance of knowing about Dementia is highlighted. The scientific basis of the importance of Talking Therapy in ameliorating sufferings is explained. One chapter describes the symptoms of traumatised mind where the reader is expected to identify any features s/he has at the time of reading. The last chapter contains Hard Talk (FAST) which every new generation should have a fair understanding of the contents... Knowledge is an antidote to sufferings. Knowledge is panacea. A bad behaviour induces suffering; so it must be stopped. Harangue with Meringue. It is no use crying over spilt milk (Vol. II) is the second in a series. Volume I is How Are You? Tell it like it is (Vol.1) is Volume I. ISBN :978-1-78222-177-7 Every piece of information in the book is educational to the young minds and a must-read for every teenager. Please spread the knowledge to prevent the illness spreading. Life is hell without a sound mental health. Think of it!

Book excerpt: Dr. Venice Bloodworth in her book The Key to Yourself states that an affirmation of I am happy, healthy and prosperous isnt just words, its the retraining of the subconscious to be positive, which is a principle of universal law that puts aside the negative as being a result of not following self-help universal law. Self-health is an extension of that law. Religiously, using this law will enable readers at any age to lower their biological age below their chronological age, thus, altering their lifestyle and health and assuming a higher felling of self-worth and happiness. This self-health book reinforces the need to move your thinking in a different path so the future does a mental house cleaning and a new thought conditioning called I am happy, healthy, and prosperous, affirmation enough to replace the subconscious feelings for negativity programmed into all of us by parents, media, and lifes problems and challenges. You then are what you think you are without concern for aging too fast and being too fat, too stressed, or too old. You then have attained what the author and his family have, Lifestyles of the Healthy, Happy, and Prosperous.

Book excerpt: Peace on Earth and goodwill to men. 1984’s INGSOC was the prediction of George Orwell of how the Brotherhood and Big Brother created a culture of fear and mind torture to control the social actions of the Otherhood. The prediction of a negative utopia to emerge in 1984 passed in the real world of America and returns as socialism evolved into totalitarianism in 2184. However, by 2084, after years of being attacked by robots and drones from another galaxy, disabling the world’s grid systems triggers worldwide patriotism with coexistence of peace. Overriding the current culture of violence and world conflict the evolution of political systems focuses on peace as the world is threatened by attacks from outer space. The use of quantum physics enables the world to create a vehicle for time travel and transference and explains how the human genome is the structure of the cosmos and how the Black Hole’s dissipating humanity while the White Hole represented by the cosmos must be saved before life is consumed by the Black Hole. Alec Carter Stevens becomes the president of the Americas in 2081 after forming an American Enterprise Party during the campaign of 2080s. He is instrumental in defusing the outer space threat from the attacking planet, Medroma, and forming a one-world government (Americana) that has seven continental regions. But with political turmoil continuing in the seven continental regions, the Socialists gains control once again. And in 2184, with the forming of Americania AMSOC, the world is controlled by the Grand Marshal, the Pope, and one religion, one capital, one Bible, one language, and an army of peacekeepers controlling the twelve districts. The capitol is in Sunyani, where the governing Few are located. Under an edict, the Many (the masses) were embedded with brain chips that control behavior and modifies any aberrant actions against the AMSOC and policies of Americania. The Queen Robot, discovered in Medroma, becomes a source of the answer to how the gravitational pull of the Black Hole created the Earth and exerts an ever increasing magnetic field, causing a decline in world population and the need to nullify the Black Hole (Satan) through the spirit of the White Holes (God).
