Now at present man is--on this planet (the earth) and in this Round (the fourth)--in the fifth of these races, and therefore, without recognizing his development as a whole, we shall find him to be generally in possession of five-fold attributes. We see him a creature of five extremities, a veritable" five pointed star," as the Rosicrucians symbolized him--with five fingers, five toes, five senses, five organs of sense. His development is not therefore above the fifth stage--that of the human soul or the mind--having as yet as little perception of the sixth, or spiritual soul, as he has of a sixth sense.
