Laird' Clowes has brought Up naval history to the year 1900 in a more human fashion, while Rudyard Kipling well, we all know his gems of naval life. The war has produced a new school, and I have read its works with' infinite enjoyment. I dedicate this ambitious work to the glorious Service.
