This has also led to the confrontation and questioning of the great narratives established in the common memory, especially with countries of the East joining the European Union. The essays we selected to showcase all probe and comment on the “space/time/issue between” in aesthetic or linguistic productions in a variety of cultures. We have organized these contributions in three parts entitled: Part I: Between Fiction and "Reality," Part II: Between Continuity and Transformation, and Part III: Between Conformity and Resistance.
