The Shaganosh, rapacious in their hunger for land and profit, have no wish to understand anything but the coins in their pockets and the prospect of more such wealth being ripped from the land. A saviour is needed to bring the land back into balance. The one Creator sends to the People is not in a form the Shaganosh understand. Neither is the beauty and the balance she comes to teach--a beauty and balance she must first find for herself. It will take a life time of instruction and loneliness to pave the way to this knowing. It will take a battle with a destructive Manitou to bring it to life. Even if she must die in the process.
