Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Use modern scientific foundations and Bible based wisdom to align your life with the Law of Attraction as do the Master Attractors. What is common to evangelist Billy Graham and to world champion Roger Bannister who broke the four minute mile barrier? They benefit from the Law of Attraction! The Law of Attraction is a mindset known over two thousand years ago to the authors of the Bible. Modern scientific fields from neuro-biology, neuro-psychology and social studies identified the foundations and mechanisms of action of the pervasive Law of Attraction. From rulers and prophets to contemporary inventors, politicians, physicians, and evangelists to modern thought-leaders they all use the framework of the Law of Attraction. They align their life and activities with the Law of Attraction and manifest their objectives. You can also align yourself with this ancient wisdom and manifest what you wish out of life. Like King Solomon you can be a Master Attractor that attracts health and longevity, acquires knowledge and invents technologies, wins a political office, manifests wealth and real-estate, and grows your family dynasty. In “The Master Attractor," Mandy Lender MD, illustrates step-by-step how to align yourself with the mindset of the Law of Attraction and manifest your life mission. Dr. Lender researched scientific literature and identified the biologic foundations of the Law of Attraction as it is observed in the work of renowned contemporary physicians, politicians, evangelists and world sports champions. The universal Law of Attraction rewards every human being who lives in alignment with its Key Concepts.

Book excerpt: “The Master Attractor: The Law of Attraction in the Holy Bible & Beyond” explains the Law of Attraction as a mindset known for over two thousand years to the authors of the Bible. Modern scientific fields from neuro-biology, neuro-psychology and social sciences identified the foundations and mechanisms of action of the universal Law of Attraction. From biblical rulers and prophets to contemporary inventors, politicians, physicians, sports champions and evangelists to modern thought-leaders -- all use the framework of the Law of Attraction. They align their life and activities with the Law of Attraction and manifest their life objectives. As a testimonial that successful personal manifesting is consistent with Biblical morals and ethics, the book reviews Master Attractors from Moses to Paul and modern Master Attractors as Albert Schweitzer, Sir Roger Bannister, and Billy Graham among others.

Book excerpt: Recently there has been considerable interest in qualitative methods in simulation and mathematical model- ing. Qualitative Simulation Modeling and Analysis is the first book to thoroughly review fundamental concepts in the field of qualitative simulation. The book will appeal to readers in a variety of disciplines including researchers in simulation methodology, artificial intelligence and engineering. This book boldly attempts to bring together, for the first time, the qualitative techniques previously found only in hard-to-find journals dedicated to single disciplines. The book is written for scientists and engineers interested in improving their knowledge of simulation modeling. The "qualitative" nature of the book stresses concepts of invariance, uncertainty and graph-theoretic bases for modeling and analysis.

The intrinsic difficulty of the TSP is associated with the combinatorial explosion of potential solutions in the solution space. The author introduces the idea of using the attractor concept in dynamical systems theory to reduce the search space for exhaustive search for the TSP. Numerous examples are used to describe how to use this new search algorithm to solve the TSP and its variants including: multi-objective TSP, dynamic TSP, and probabilistic TSP. This book is intended for readers in the field of optimization research and application.

Book excerpt: This volume constitutes the Proceedings of the "Nonlinear Dynamics in Economics and Social Sciences" Meeting held at the Certosa di Pontignano, Siena, on May 27-30, 1991. The Meeting was organized by the National Group "Modelli Nonlineari in Economia e Dinamiche Complesse" of the Italian Ministery of University and SCientific Research, M.U.RS.T. The aim of the Conference, which followed a previous analogous initiative taking place in the very same Certosa, on January 1988*, was the one of offering a come together opportunity to economists interested in a new mathematical approach to the modelling of economical processes, through the use of more advanced analytical techniques, and mathematicians acting in the field of global dynamical systems theory and applications. A basiC underlying idea drove the organizers: the necessity of fOCUSing on the use that recent methods and results, as those commonly referred to the overpopularized label of "Chaotic Dynamics", did find in the social sciences domain; and thus to check their actual relevance in the research program of modelling economic phenomena, in order to individuate and stress promising perspectives, as well as to curb excessive hopes and criticize not infrequent cases where research reduces to mechanical, ad hoc, applications of "a la mode" techniques. In a word we felt the need of looking about the state of the arts in non-linear systems theory applications to economics and social processes: hence the title of the workshop and the volume.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The Christian church worldwide has been taken prisoner by Satan's counterfeit healing." This statement is based on the author's personal experience, modest exposure to the Toronto Blessing, observation of parachurch healing ministries, and extensive historical reconstructions. Satan's Counterfeit Healing presents and evaluates Satan's supernatural healing from the Paleolithic period (ca. 45000 BCE) to the contemporary church. The guiding thesis is that Satan and his demonic surrogates perform miracles which are evident as psi paranormal phenomena. These manifestations include physical and exorcistic supernatural healings. Paleolithic and Neolithic periods produced Great Mother goddess worship and healing, which have persisted ever since. These idolatries, combined with OT nature gods, were a backdrop to Jesus' true miracles. For two thousand years of church history there's been a tug-of-war between true and false healing. Mother goddess as Mariological shrine healing joined with natural and demonic magic, and esoteric energy psi. Alongside these the Holy Spirit has raised up genuine healers and their ministries. Modern healing is marked by energy counterfeits and faith healing, the latter especially accompanied by trance, false prophecy, and psi transformations. True divine healing can be recovered when Christians repudiate nature gods, reject false prophecy, and restore proper eschatology.

Book excerpt: This book starts with an introduction to the basic concepts of multistability, then illustrates how multistability arises in different systems and explains the main mechanisms of multistability emergence. A special attention is given to noise which can convert a multistable deterministic system to a monostable stochastic one. Furthermore, the most important applications of multistability in different areas of science, engineering and technology are given attention throughout the book, including electronic circuits, lasers, secure communication, and human perception. The book aims to provide a first approach to multistability for readers, who are interested in understanding its fundamental concepts and applications in several fields. This book will be useful not only to researchers and engineers focusing on interdisciplinary studies, but also to graduate students and technicians. Both theoreticians and experimentalists will rely on it, in fields ranging from mathematics and laser physics to neuroscience and astronomy. The book is intended to fill a gap in the literature, to stimulate new discussions and bring some fundamental issues to a deeper level of understanding of the mechanisms underlying self-organization of matter and world complexity.

Book excerpt: For engineering applications that are based on nonlinear phenomena, novel information processing systems require new methodologies and design principles. This perspective is the basis of the three cornerstones of this book: cellular neural networks, chaos and synchronization. Cellular neural networks and their universal machine implementations offer a well-established platform for processing spatial-temporal patterns and wave computing. Multi-scroll circuits are generalizations to the original Chua's circuit, leading to chip implementable circuits with increasingly complex attractors. Several applications make use of synchronization techniques for nonlinear systems. A systematic overview is given for Lur'e representable systems with global synchronization criteria for master-slave and mutual synchronization, robust synchronization, H∞ synchronization, time-delayed systems and impulsive synchronization.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The interdisciplinary linguistic attractor model portrays language processing as linked sequences of fractal sets, and examines the changing dynamics of such sets for individuals as well as the speech community they comprise. Its motivation stems from human anatomic constraints and several artificial neural network approaches. It uses general computation theory to: (1) demonstrate the capacity of Cantor-like fractal sets to perform as Turing Machines; (2) better distinguish between models that simply match outputs (emulation) and models that match both outputs and internal dynamics (simulation); and (3) relate language processing to essential computation steps executed in parallel. Measure and information theory highlight the key variables driving linguistic dynamics, while catastrophe and game theory help predict the possible topologies of language change. It introduces techniques to isolate and measure attractors, and to interpret their stability and relative content within a system. Important results include the capability to distinguish the sequence of related sound changes, and to make point-to-point comparisons of different texts using common metrics. Other techniques allow quantifiable ambiguity landscapes illustrating the forces that propel different languages in different directions.
