Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Women, Men, and Spiritual Power, John Coakley explores male-authored narratives of the lives of Catherine of Siena, Hildegard of Bingen, Angela of Foligno, and six other female prophets or mystics of the late Middle Ages. His readings reveal the complex personal and literary relationships between these women and the clerics who wrote about them. Coakley's work also undermines simplistic characterizations of male control over women, offering an important contribution to medieval religious history. Coakley shows that these male-female relationships were marked by a fundamental tension between power and fascination: the priests and monks were supposed to hold authority over the women entrusted to their care, but they often switched roles, as the men became captivated with the women's spiritual gifts. In narratives of such women, the male authors reflect directly on the relationship between the women's powers and their own. Coakley argues that they viewed these relationships as gendered partnerships that brought together female mystical power and male ecclesiastical authority without placing one above the other. Women, Men, and Spiritual Power chronicles a wide-ranging experiment in the balance of formal and informal powers, in which it was assumed to be thoroughly imaginable for both sorts of authority, in their distinctly gendered terms, to coexist and build on each other. The men's writings reflect an extended moment in western Christianity when clerics had enough confidence in their authority to actually question its limits. After about 1400, however, clerics underwent a crisis of confidence, and such a questioning of institutional power was no longer considered safe. Instead of seeing women as partners, their revelatory powers began to be viewed as evidence of witchcraft.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In The Man and Woman Manifesto: What We Believe!, the author gives an accounting of what this paradigm shift into man and woman balance is about, both individually and for the world at large. We are at a turning point in the conscious evolution of mankind on planet earth. We all feel the change, and turbulence, although we are not sure of which way to turn. We are being offered an empty sexual progressivism through L,G,B,T,Q, as well as an existential threat in Islamic radicalism. In the meantime, our own Constitutional system of governance with its Christian roots seems to comprise a history--what is the way forward? These are not easy questions. This is not an easy book. But if you can capture its essence your life will forevermore have purpose. This writing will forevermore change your life as well as the world at large. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Four major writings on the man and woman relationship. These writings reflect the maturing of the author's thoughts revealing the breadth and scope of this metaphysical embodiment. Includes: Mind and Spirit; The Romantic Ideal; The Two Forces of Creation; and Dimensions in Consciousness. "The man and woman relationship is that which is. It shows itself as reality at any point of consciousness/existence, creating through the two forces of male and female. Male and female hold this sexual universe together, securing form and reproducing it, in their creative balance together. Creative balance is their absolute conscious standing. It is their knowledge of truth and their living of love. One man and one woman..." Selected Writings--Volume 2 Author Bio: Christopher Alan Anderson (1950 - ) received the basis of his education from the University of Science and Philosophy, Swannanoa, Waynesboro, Virginia. He resides in the transcendental/romantic tradition, that vein of spiritual creativity of the philosopher and poet. His quest has been to define and express an eternal romantic reality from which a man and a woman could together stand in their difference and create a living universe of procreative love. Mr. Anderson began these writings in 1971. The first writings were published in 1985. On a personal note, when Mr. Anderson was asked to describe the writings and what he felt their message was he responded, "Spiritual procreation. Mankind has yet to distinguish the two sexes on the spiritual level. In this failure lies the root of our problems and why we cannot yet touch the eternal together. The message of man and woman balance brings each of us together in love with our eternal other half right now."

This writing is a step into the light of a procreative metaphysics as well as being the author's most autobiographical statement. "The Man and Woman Spiritual Center is only expressed in an actual touch between a man and a woman. It cannot be expressed in any other way. That touch may range from a momentary conscious recognition to a full embrace, but a touch, one to another, it is. The Spiritual Center is not expressed through belief, pledge, worship, ritual, or the paying of alms. It is not something that can be institutionalized, dogmatized, or ratified. There isn't any prescribed path to take, master to follow, or status to attain for its expression. There is only a man and a woman, touching and expressing creation together." You find yourself acting the same and yielding to those same old temptations - that didn't seem to change either. So you wonder, Has anything really changed? The correct answer to that question is foundational for receiving from God. If you lack this basic understanding, you'll forever ask yourself doubt-filled questions like: "How could God love somebody like me?" and "How can I possibly expect to receive anything from the Lord? I don't deserve it, I'm not good enough!" Spirit, Soul, and Body will help you eliminate those and other doubt-filled questions that destroy your faith. If you have trouble receiving from God, this is a must-read!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The purpose of Mind and Spirit is to sex (divide into the male and female component parts) that which we call mind and that which we call spirit. We most often use these terms in a non-sexual or an androgynous way, as if mind and spirit are sexually neutral. I would suggest that that is not the case, that, in fact, mind and spirit are highly sexual, they being either male or female in nature. "The man and woman spiritual center is that center point of touch/spirit between a man and a woman. It comprises the creative process of male and female individualization and unification. It is the living embodiment of a man and woman in their rhythmic balanced interchange." Book excerpt: "An exciting vision of the future" --Michael Eric Dyson Everything Is Spiritual is an unexpected and compelling invitation to see your life in a whole new way. We have the great moments of our lives, the highs, those times when we soar, when it all makes sense, when it feels like it all has purpose and meaning. And then there are all those other moments—the lows and aches and failures and struggles and experiences that leave us wondering what the point of it all is. Are our lives ultimately bits and pieces and fragments—you try to find a little peace and hope and then it’s over? Or is there more going on here? In our increasingly polarized and disoriented world, Everything Is Spiritual gives us a radical new take on how it all fits together, how it works, how it’s all connected. Part memoir, part extended riff on the quantum nature of reality, part history of the universe, Rob Bell takes us back through the twists and turns and struggles of his story in order to help us see the larger story so that we can reconnect with our story.

A man gives his (securitive) love to a woman; a woman gives her (reproductive) love to a man. That is all there is. We don't need to concern ourselves about 'loving ourselves,' as if one could. Our only concern is to love our sexual other half. Do you hear this? Only the action of giving your love to your sexual other half will keep you in alignment to Source such that the Law of Attraction will work for you. Why is this so? Because you are one (of the two) sexual Prime Movers." In this quote the author gives his overview of the problem and solution of mankind. Book excerpt: In Spiritual Healing ...of Our Eternal Souls for all Time! the author tackles the question of universal karma/original sin and how we may free ourselves from that, not just in the eternal sense but in the present moment. As American writer Henry David Thoreau stated, "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them." It is the present moment the author wants to address and in so doing, he contends, the eternal takes care of itself. The author presents this writing as a foundational shift (a recalibration of our very souls!) that transcends our current religions and philosophies both East and West. Keywords: Philosophy, Metaphysics, Spirituality, Sexuality, Soul, Light, Love, Relationships, Man, Woman
