At post-test, participants were asked to describe the most important lessons they learned in internship. Drawing from the thematic analysis of this data, it is suggested that preservice teachers' beliefs may have changed in response to experiencing the wide-ranging positive effects of partnering with families and the realization that parents do want to be involved in their children's education.
