Einleitung Im ersten Teil meiner Hausarbeit „Social Media als erfolgreicher Bestandteil im Marketingmix von Kultureinrichtungen“ konnte gezeigt werden, dass Social Media unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen und durch strategisches Vorgehen durchaus erfolgreich im Marketingmix von Kulturbetrieben eingesetzt werden kann. Vor allem Soziale Netzwerke haben das Potenzial Bindung zum Zielpublikum und aktives Engagement zu generieren. Dabei spielen die kommunizierten Inhalte eine bedeutende Rolle. Dieser zweite Teil der Arbeit soll die Methode des Storytelling als Möglichkeit vorstellen, diese Inhalte interessant und ansprechend darzustellen. Storytelling - also das Erzählen von Geschichten - ist dabei keine neue Erfindung, sondern wird seit Menschengedenken benutzt, um die Welt zu erklären, Orientierung zu geben und Handlungsoptionen aufzuzeigen. Mittlerweile haben auch Unternehmen und Marken den Wert guter Geschichten für sich wiederentdeckt und verwenden sie vor allem in der Prozessoptimierung, zur Darstellung der Unternehmenskultur nach innen und außen, für die PR- oder Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und im Marketing.
