Die anwesenden Zuschauer sind verwirrt und irritiert. Dann erfolgt die Auflösung per Plakat mit der Aufschrift: „Your daily dose of drama – from 10/04 on Telenet – TNT – We know drama“. Die Social-Media-Kampagne lief im April 2012 zum Anlass des Sendestarts des Actionsenders TNT in Belgien. Die Kampagne wurde über YouTube.com verbreitet. Bis Ende Mai 2012 lag die Zahl der Zugriffe auf YouTube.com weltweit bereits bei 34 Mio. Views. Diese Kampagne ist ein Beispiel, wie Social Media im Rahmen der Unternehmenskommunikation im Business-to-Consumer-Bereich (B2C) eingesetzt wird und wie sich dort eine Werbebotschaft über einen Social-Media-Kanal viral weiterverbreitet. Noch nie schien es so leicht im B2C-Geschäft, direkt mit den Kunden zu interagieren und auf Augenhöhe zu kommunizieren. Doch wie verhält sich dies im Business-to-Business-Bereich (B2B)? Im Rahmen der Unternehmenskommunikation bietet Social Media neue Möglichkeiten im Dialog mit den verschiedenen Anspruchsgruppen. Allgemein haben sowohl B2C- als auch B2B- Unternehmen mögliche Vorteile von Social Media für die Bereiche Marketing und Vertrieb, Unternehmenskommunikation, Kundenservice und Support sowie als internes Medium zur Mitarbeiterkommunikation und für das Personalwesen erkannt.
