Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A silly story about Sworceracs. You will come across nonsense words . Have fun trying to pronounce, unscrambling, reverse and say the nonsense words. Emordnilaps and Levidromes are two types of words that will jump at you. Have fun with oddities of the English language. Remember if a sentence doesn’t make sense find the word that doesn’t fit. Then play with it until you find the right word that makes sense. The story is about the Sworceracs that live on Mr Wilsons farm. The Sworceracs need hay to prepare for a frigid cold winter approaching. They have lost most of their hay. Mr. Wilson use to come out to the field and stuff them with hay. Those were the good old days. They still chuckled as they recall how the dry fresh hay tickled them. Mr/Wilson was getting too old and couldn’t walk out to the field to fill the Sworeracs with hay. The Wilsons children were now grown and moved to the big city. The Sworceracs and all the farm animals loved Mr and Mrs Wilsons. Buford the hound dog was old now and just layed on the worn out carpet that displayed his name. Samantha the cat just slept all day. She use to jump through the tall dry grass hunting for mice. All the Sworceras would laugh and laugh at her. Eddie and Tillie the house mice were now happily married. Those were the good old days. The three Sworceras Yelims, Ydoow and Yllis must find the king and bring back some hay for the Sworeracs. Along the way they meet new friends who also need hay. The wind blows stronger and colder as they made their way down the country dirt road. They walked and walked and walked looking for the kings castle. Surely he would give them hay. They heard he was the oldest Sworceracs and he was a good and kind king.

Louise visits an Imam, whose advice sets her on a new path and she commits the rest of her life making amends for the evil deeds she had been brainwashed into committing. Adam is promoted to Home Secretary and throws his hat in the ring for Prime Minister. When this happens, the group put pressure on Louse to plant a device in Number 10. Book excerpt: Queen Malice and her team set off toward Jabberwock Valley, where they hope to find a new body for their friend and teammate, the woefully decapitated Jabberwock. Their journey will no doubt be fraught with peril, but Malice is more concerned with the crushing withdrawals she's going through, due to running out of black rose. She hopes she can keep it together, despite her bouts of viciousness from a malfunctioning heart. Any further breakdowns could lead to very awkward social situations. And the team is stressed enough already, what with the agonies of a dramatic love triangle, and the threat of a powerful chief who wants to capture Malice, for reasons that aren't entirely clear yet. Can they arrive at Jabberwock Valley in one piece? And without Sleepy B committing a childish mistake requiring rescue? Or without the Cheshire Cat offending any of the team with his sharp tongue? Or without Malice breaking either the Mad Hatter's or Humpty's heart? No doubt something is bound to happen. Malice just hopes she can get through the whole nerve wracking mess without having to resort to any black rose "substitutes" along the way.

Book excerpt: The fourth book in the charming and sensual School for Heiresses series by New York Times bestselling author Sabrina Jeffries tells the story of an alluringly handsome rake who challenges everything a young teacher thinks she knows about passion and desire. When Madeline Prescott took a teaching position at Mrs. Harris’s School for Young Ladies, it was to help restore her father’s reputation. Instead, she’s in danger of ruining her own. The devilishly handsome Anthony Dalton, Viscount Norcourt, has agreed to provide “rake lessons” to Mrs. Harris’s pupils so that they can learn how to avoid unscrupulous gentlemen, and Madeline is to oversee his classes. She has always believed that attraction is a scientific matter, easily classified and controlled—until she’s swept into the passionate desire that fiercely burns between her and Anthony. Nothing could be more illogical than risking everything for a dalliance with a rake, even one who’s trying to behave himself. Yet nothing could be more tempting…

Book excerpt: One of the world’s foremost parenting experts offers a revolutionary guide for translating a crying baby’s urgent messages. Like many new parents, Priscilla Dunstan was at her wit’s end trying to ease the crying of her colicky infant son. Then she made a startling discovery: His sounds varied according to his needs, and she could decipher their meaning by tracking the sound as a physical reflex. Unlike learned languages, Dunstan soon realized, every newborn from birth to three months possesses a natural, reflexive communication system for signaling hunger, tiredness, the need to burp, lower gas, and general discomfort. Thirteen years of research culminated in the Dunstan Baby Language, now made available to all caregivers in Calm the Crying. Helping readers learn to recognize and respond to exactly what their baby needs, Dunstan’s remarkable program covers ten sounds in total that can be identified and used to calm a baby. Brimming with diagrams and photographs, Calm the Crying reduces the frustration of wasted time spent addressing the wrong needs. A baby’s cries are a powerful form of communication—now made even more powerful because the message can be understood loud and clear.

Book excerpt: In the new edge-of-your-seat adventure from national bestselling author Nick Petrie, Peter Ash pursues one case--and stumbles into another--in the City of the Blues. Iraq war veteran Peter Ash is restless in the home he shares with June Cassidy in Washington State. June knows Peter needs to be on the move, so she sends him to Memphis to help her friend Wanda Wyatt, a photographer and war correspondent who's been receiving peculiar threats. When Peter arrives in Memphis, however, he finds the situation has gone downhill fast--someone has just driven a dump truck into Wanda's living room. But neither Wanda nor Peter can figure out why. At the same time, a young homeless street musician finds himself roped into a plan to rob a jewelry store. The heist doesn't go as planned, and the young man finds himself holding a sack full of Rolexes and running for his life. When his getaway car breaks down, he steals a new one at gunpoint--Peter's 1968 green Chevrolet pickup truck. Peter likes the skinny kid's smarts and attitude, but he soon discovers that the desperate musician is in far worse trouble than he knows. And Wanda's troubles are only beginning. Peter finds himself stuck between Memphis gangsters--looking for Rolexes and revenge--and a Mississippi ex-con and his hog-butcher brother looking for a valuable piece of family history that goes all the way back to the Civil War.

Book excerpt: Sandcastles By: Hollyann Marie Helena has dreams. In her senior year of pre-med, she gets good grades and studies hard, on her way to becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon. But her dreams threaten to come screeching to a halt when her father, the owner of one of the largest oil refineries in Texas, gives her an ultimatum: marry the playboy heir to the James Oil Industry, Aiden James, and consolidate the merger between the state’s two largest oil companies, or be disinherited. Aiden, trying to finish his law degree and figure out his life path, faces the same demand from his own father. As he and Helena grapple with their unwanted betrothal, a torrid romance begins to kindle between them—one every bit as complex and fragile as a castle made of sand.
