Book excerpt: A description of 2,000 years of Christian persecution of the Jews, written by a Jewish Christian who contends that Christians are almost totally ignorant of the Jews' agony throughout the centuries. Pointing to the Jewish origins of Jesus and the apostles, and to positive aspects of Judaism, decries the Christian distortion of Judaism, and the hatred and lies spread against the Jewish people up to the present day. Although he believes that the Jews will eventually come to accept Jesus as the Messiah, Brown calls on Christians to approach Jews with love, and not with hatred. He states that Satan is the author of the spirit of antisemitism, and that Christians must recognize that when they hate Jews they are heeding not God but Satan.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this study, Teresa Morgan offers a radically new interpretation of 'in Christ'and related expressions in the undisputed letters of Paul. Starting from a reassessment of Deissmann's Die neutestamentliche Formel "in Christo Jesu", she argues that Deissmann's philology is flawed, the Schweitzerian concept of 'participation in Christ' which is indebted to it is problematic, and many contemporary accounts of participation are better understood in other terms. Through close readings of each letter, Teresa Morgan shows how Paul uses en Christo language instrumentally, to speak of what God has done 'through' Christ, by Christ's death, and 'encheiristically', to speak of the life the faithful now live 'in Christ's hands': in Christ's power, under his authority, under his protection, and in his care. This creative use of en Christo language forms part of and connects Paul's soteriology, eschatology, and Christology, shaping his narrative of God's intervention in the world, the relationship between God, Christ, and the faithful, the lordship and work of Christ between the resurrection and the parousia, and God's ultimate triumph. This narrative is closely connected with Paul's ecclesiology and ethics, where life 'in Christ's hands' is envisaged as the this-worldly dimension of the new creation: an aspect ofeternal life already active in the present time. In Christ's hands the faithful, not least Paul himself, live a new life in communities with a distinctive structure and dynamic. In Christ's hands, they hope to remain in right-standing with God and serve God until Christ's return.

Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?” (Proverbs 30:4). The answer to this riddle can be found in the revelation contained within this book. The Son’s identity, once concealed in the divine letters of the Hebrew alphabet... is now revealed! Yeshua said, “Before Abraham was, I am.” Messiah is also known as the Poretz, (the one who will break through). He was present from the beginning of time for the salvation of the world! Each Hebrew letter points to Jesus/Yeshua as the Messiah to all the nations of the world. The mystery of Messiah Yeshua was once hidden in the divine Hebrew letters and the Torah. This breakthrough information has been revealed for such a time as this. Yeshua said, “Repent for the Kingdom of God is near! “This book is a glimpse of Yeshua in the Hebrew Alpha-Bet. Yeshua said, “In the volume of the book it is written of me”. You are about to get a glimpse of Yeshua revealed in the Hebrew. For those not fluent in Hebrew, it is my hope that this book will pique your interest in learning our holy language. As a Jewish Rabbi and a believer in Yeshua the Messiah, I highly recommend Mystery of the Hebrew Letters to connect you to the Jewishness of Yeshua/Jesus. The Bible is a Jewish book from cover to cover and only in studying the Bible in Hebrew, its original language, will you begin to understand the richness of the Word of Elohim. As Christians, it’s time to reconnect to the Jewish Roots of our faith.” - Rabbi Deborah Brandt – Deborah’s Messianic Ministries-Beit Midrash Tefillah Hallel Congregation and Vice President and Instructor at The Judaic Studies Institute and University. “Dr. Maria Goldstein, THANK YOU for writing this incredible book. As a Hebrew Christian for 46 years, I have never read anything like this! It solves the mystery of the Hebrew alphabet and reveals Yeshua/Jesus as the Son of God. Many of my questions have finally been answered by this book, which I highly and enthusiastically recommend!” -Pastor Meyer Stahl- Southern New Mexico Church of God, author, founder, producer, TV and radio host of What is Truth? “The 22 sacred letters of the Hebrew language are profound and spiritual since the language spoken by God in the Bible is made up from these letters. By trying to understand God’s word we can learn even more by understanding the meaning of the letters that brought forth creation. Rev. Dr. Maria Goldstein does a wonderful job of revealing some of these mysteries and their relation to Messiah Yeshua.” Rabbi George Quinn Beth Israel Messianic Center, El Paso, TX "Hebrew is a constructive language, and as such, even the letters must be considered when determining the meaning of the words! A Jewish story goes as follows: When God asked Adam to name the animals, Adam so filled with the knowledge of the Hebrew letters was able to look at each creature and knew which letters God used to bring that creature into existence. Those letters then became the name that Adam gave to each creature. So Adam did not so much as name the animals as much as being filled with the knowledge of the letters, he knew the name God had already given them. Dr Goldstein's Mystery of the Hebrew Letter Jesus Revealed is a wonderful little gem conveying some key elementary points of each Hebrew letter. This primer should be taken as a first step into the larger world of understanding the very Word of God, the Bible." Rabbi Gary Hartshorn Las Cruces, NM

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Discover the hidden spiritual significance of the order of the Hebrew alphabet in Psalm 145. Every Hebrew letter holds ancient biblical meanings in its Hebrew name, its hand-written shape, and its numerical value. When God wrote the Bible, He designed certain chapters to be alphabetical acrostics. In an alphabetical acrostic, the first word of the first verse begins with the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The second verse begins with the second letter, and so on through the entire alphabet. Psalm 145 is a magnificent example of the powerful spiritual symbolism of alphabetical acrostics in Scripture. Because Hebrew letters are also numbers, God employs alphabetical acrostics as "signals" that certain scriptures contain elementary or foundational spiritual wisdom, presented in an orderly discipleship program for the believer to follow. This book also shows how the ancient meanings of the letters themselves shed additional light on the plain meaning of each verse. No prior knowledge of Hebrew is required to enjoy learning from this book. Every word of Psalm 145 is defined and explained in simple, everyday English, with helpful commentary along the way. Suitable for individual or group study, this book's approach is equally welcoming (and its vocabulary is equally understandable) to those of either Gentile Christian or Messianic Jewish backgrounds.

Book excerpt: The Christ Letter is a conversation partner for pastors and students of the Bible who want to wrestle with the meaning of the biblical text for Christian living today. Scholarly commentaries perform an essential task, but they often leave today's believers on their own when it comes to making Paul's letter come alive. Doug Webster weaves together deep biblical insights, penetrating cultural perspectives, and stories of transformation into a pastoral commentary that promises to release the powerful message of Ephesians. This commentary offers lines of thought, illustrations, and applications that carry the gospel into the present situation. Webster draws out the personal and practical impact of Paul's spiritual direction for today. The Christ Letter gives pastors a fresh perspective and a better handle on how to preach Ephesians effectively. Webster inspires and guides faithful disciples in what it means to follow Jesus in a Christ-centered way.

Aquila Lee proposes that the root of preexistent Son Christology is to be found in early Christian exegesis of the two messianic psalms (the catalyst) in the light of Jesus's self-consciousness of divine sonship and divine mission (the foundation).

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume provides a detailed examination of Paul's use of the phrase 'Christ in You' and highlights its importance for better understanding Paul's eschatological thought. Having previously received relatively little scholarly attention, the expression 'Christ in You' has often been viewed as synonymous with the phrase 'in Christ.' Barcley recognizes a distinction and argues that Paul uses 'Christ in You' specifically to emphasize the proper functioning of faith in life. 'Christ in You' indicates that believers have undergone a spiritual transformation, fully incorporating Christ into their lives. This study will be of value to religious scholars, pastors, and anyone with an interest in New Testament thought.
