Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Logos 3 is the fourth of my ten-volume, Logos 1-7 work, each volume of which is able to stand alone as God’s Book of Life. It took me over 3,000 pages in ten volumes to say How and What is Important to Believe. It seeks to explain by experience who Jesus is, who God is, who the Holy Spirit is, what the Bible is, why it is crucial to life that we believe in them, what “belief” is, what “to be saved” is, just how Salvation is effected, what the “take-away” benefits are, and how to find meaning and purpose in life. “As said, each of these ten volumes is able to stand alone as God’s Book of Life, portraying Life with the Holy Spirit by belief in the Christ of Jesus as Savior to eternal life with God. The ten volumes relate my Story of Writing God's Book of Life, using nonfiction essays and poetry with daily help of divine intervention in producing the seven-Logos Work of ten volumes, and the four supporting volumes. All seek to fully understand and explain this work inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Christ of Jesus. “The action of God fulfilled for him in seven years all of Rodger Crafton's dreams of becoming a writer of poetry and prose, an armchair philosopher, and an artist working in his new, upstairs garage atelier.”---R. This volume focuses on what exactly is the Will of God for each individual and well as corporately for Humankind. It holds God's Warning Messageto the World addressed to every level of society from highest to lowest: world, nation, state, community, family, and individual – that the state of humankind is deplorable to God, and offers the Call of God to believe in Jesus as the Christ Savior and accept his Holy Spirit for Life with Him. He assays it through his Eyes of Christ, warns of coming retribution, and presents the Christ Spirit as the only solution to restore humankind to a godly image. “Each of these ten volumes is able to stand alone as God’s Book of Life, portraying Life with the Holy Spirit by belief in the Christ of Jesus as Savior to eternal life with God. Book excerpt: After joining the staff of the Burgholzli Mental Hospital in 1900, Jung developed and applied the word-association tests for studying normal and abnormal psychology. The studies have remained a significant phase in the development of Jung's conceptions and an important contribution to diagnostic psychology and psychiatry. Between 1904 and 1907 he published nine studies on the tests. These studies, together with two lectures on the association method given in 1909 at Clark University and three articles on psychophysical researches from American and English journals in 1907-1908, compose this volume. Jung's association studies showed the definite influence of Bleuler and also of Freud, with whom he worked closely for several years. With this volume, the Collected Works are complete except for the Miscellany, Bibliography and Index volumes.

Book Synopsis Experiments in Personality: Volume 2 (Psychology Revivals) by : H. J. Eysenck
Download or read book Experiments in Personality: Volume 2 (Psychology Revivals) written by H. J. Eysenck and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2013-10-31 with total page 362 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Originally published in 1960, the two volumes of Experiments in Personality report a number of experiments in psychogenetics, psychopharmacology, psychodiagnostics, psychometrics and psychodynamics, all of which formed part of the programme of research which had been developing from the late 1940s at the Maudsley Hospital. Presenting the studies together in a book, rather than the more usual route of journal articles, was itself felt to be an experiment at the time, especially given the wide area covered. The decision was deliberate because all the studies reported formed part of a larger whole, which would have been lost if published separately. Volume II looks at psychodiagnostics, psychodynamics and psychometrics.

Book Synopsis Experimental Thinking by : James N. Druckman
Download or read book Experimental Thinking written by James N. Druckman and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2022-05-12 with total page 229 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Experiments are a central methodology in the social sciences. Scholars from every discipline regularly turn to experiments. Practitioners rely on experimental evidence in evaluating social programs, policies, and institutions. This book is about how to “think” about experiments. It argues that designing a good experiment is a slow moving process (given the host of considerations) which is counter to the current fast moving temptations available in the social sciences. The book includes discussion of the place of experiments in the social science process, the assumptions underlying different types of experiments, the validity of experiments, the application of different designs, how to arrive at experimental questions, the role of replications in experimental research, and the steps involved in designing and conducting “good” experiments. The goal is to ensure social science research remains driven by important substantive questions and fully exploits the potential of experiments in a thoughtful manner.
