Book excerpt: Excerpt from Engineers' Reports, 1919 No doubt the gold value found in the t foot sample of country rock adja cent to the dyke in B shaft would be found to be contained for the most part in a a small quantity of sulphides of good grade. From the general appearance of this ample, it would have occasioned no surprise if the assay had indicated only a trace of cold. The possibility of development proving up a very large deposit of perhaps medium or low grade ore is suggested by the large area, (most of which is covered with boulder clay and consequently its potential possibilities remaining unknown) indicated by the four known places where appreciable and in some cases very appreciable gold values have been disclosed.
