Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Will the real Antichrist please stand up? For the last two thousand years people have been anxiously trying to analyze who the Antichrist might be and when he might be revealed. Many people have made preposterous claims, and of course, they have been wrong. If you’re not careful, you can get caught up in the debate and spend so much time arguing with other Christians over the details that you don’t accomplish anything for the kingdom! To make matters worse, we now live in an era when, for the first time, we have the possibility of an artificial intelligence Antichrist, a human computer hybrid that will demand to be worshipped. Have you ever wondered if it’s OK to have Alexa, Siri, and other forms of artificial intelligence in your home? We know that the Bible says great deception is coming, so what is a concerned believer to do? Author and minister Mark Biltz wants you to understand the methods of the Antichrist so you won’t be deceived. This book will help you know the big picture of what has happened historically, what is unfolding this very moment, and what the future holds concerning the Antichrist based on the unfolding purposes of God.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Decoding the Mind of God author O. M Kelly delves into the unconscious mind and discovers the secrets of the collective consciousness, showing how we can realize the potential of the human mind through belief in ourselves. The Laws of the universe are identical to the collective consciousness, they reveal an answer to every question we are capable of asking. We constantly receive these answers through the vibrations of the energy fields through our being, all without us knowing how to realign our intelligence with our unconscious mind. The truth remains hidden to us. Surprising as it may seem, the key to understanding ourselves lies in a mathematical language, which is the make-up of the unconscious mind. Kelly explores this language through the texts and myths of myriad cultures and belief systems, notwithstanding the truth of the science behind the Egyptian Hieroglyphs and the stories collected in the Bible. As we read this volume we realize that all of these stories are connected to our own story within. Kellys perceptions of the order of higher consciousness are framed by stories from her experiences of personal discovery and over twenty years of researching, lecturing and teaching all around the world. Once these codes are unveiled, we earn our freedom where we can release the fear in which humanity habitually traps itself, creating our accidents, diseases, why we die, right up to explaining extra terrestrial intelligence. This book exposes the secret codes of the universal language that will help us achieve the divine unity with the universe and ourselves.

Book excerpt: "How far would I go for love? This profound question drives the visceral storytelling of The Last of Us. Love is the central theme for people like us. We find it in literature, cinema, TV series, the most extravagant reality shows and, in this case, video games. After disrupting the adventure game formula with the acclaimed Uncharted series, Naughty Dog changed its recipe in 2013 with The Last of Us, embracing the post-apocalyptic genre. Seven years later, The Last of Us Part II offered a more radical and divisive experience, but still focused on people, their motivations and their flaws. With the book Decoding The Last of Us. The Remnants of Humanity, author Nicolas Deneschau invites us to grasp all the complexity behind the design of these titles, as well as the meticulousness of their authors and development teams. He analyses the many ways The Last of Us can be read and considers the important role the diptych played in the transformation of the blockbuster video game.

Not a day goes by that our bodies don't "speak" to us through tickles and tingles, belches and bellyaches -- and psychiatrist Martin Rush takes us on an entertaining, enlightening exploration as he teaches us how to decode these secret signs and signals. Rush reasons that many of the twitches and twinges we experience may have psychological roots, rather than physical ones. The runny nose, lower backache, and cough signify some underlying wants or needs that the body is trying to convey. Because we aren't always aware of our feelings, the sudden symptom may be a physiological way of drawing our attention to an unnoticed emotion. By recognizing these signals, and then deciphering them, we can better understand the meanings in our aches, pains, and other symptoms. So, if you're itching to know why you have sudden chronic sneezing attacks, or why your eyelid occasionally twitches uncontrollably, or what is behind that unexplainable rash, then perhaps it's time for a visit with Dr. Rush. The quintessential example of the mind-body connection, Decoding The Secret Language of Your Body makes everyone aware of even the most subtle interaction between feelings and body responses.

The Tao Te Ching of Lao Tzu is regarded as one of the greatest books of wisdom ever written in history, but few can grasp what it says in entirety. Embedded in each of its 5,000 Chinese characters are highly profound messages. Master Sim Pooh Ho is a Tai Chi Master and the leader of a Tai Chi lineage that traces back centuries. In his book Decoding the Tao Te Ching, he combines the ancestral teachings of Tai Chi with his practice and provides readers with unique insights into Lao Tzu's ancient book. The Tao Te Ching is difficult to comprehend because many of the concepts it introduces are elusive. What is Tao and Te, being and non-being or yin and yang? The concepts, however, are discernible in Tai Chi because they are what make the practice work. Decoding the Tao Te Ching is written in a simple manner by a Tai Chi master, and translated in an accessible way by his senior disciple Tekson TEO, thus making it an enlightening read to all English readers interested in this topic.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Widely regarded by critics and fans as one of the best games ever produced for the Sony Playstation, The Last of Us is remarkable for offering players a narratively rich experience within the parameters of cultural and gaming genres that often prioritize frenetic violence by straight white male heroes. The Last of Us is also a milestone among mainstream, big-budget (AAA) games because its development team self-consciously intervened in videogames’ historical exclusion of women and girls by creating complex and agentive female characters. The game’s co-protagonist, Ellie, is a teenage girl who is revealed to be queer in The Last of Us: Left Behind (DLC, 2014) and The Last of Us II (2020). Yet The Last of Us also centers Joel, Ellie’s fatherly protector. How is patriarchy, the rule of the father, encoded in rule-based systems like videogames? How does patriarchal rule become an algorithmic rule and vice-versa? These questions are at the heart of this book, the first comprehensive scholarly analysis of the zombie apocalypse/ action-adventure/ third-person shooter videogame The Last of Us (2013). On the one hand, the book is a close, extended study of The Last of Us and its themes, genres, procedures, and gameplay. On the other hand, the book is a post-GamerGate reflection on the political and ethical possibilities of progressive play in algorithmic mass culture, of which videogames are now the dominant form.

This book was released on 2018-07-28 with total page 146 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The purpose of these notes is to highlight the far-reaching connections between Information Theory and Statistics. Universal coding and adaptive compression are indeed closely related to statistical inference concerning processes and using maximum likelihood or Bayesian methods. The book is divided into four chapters, the first of which introduces readers to lossless coding, provides an intrinsic lower bound on the codeword length in terms of Shannon’s entropy, and presents some coding methods that can achieve this lower bound, provided the source distribution is known. In turn, Chapter 2 addresses universal coding on finite alphabets, and seeks to find coding procedures that can achieve the optimal compression rate, regardless of the source distribution. It also quantifies the speed of convergence of the compression rate to the source entropy rate. These powerful results do not extend to infinite alphabets. In Chapter 3, it is shown that there are no universal codes over the class of stationary ergodic sources over a countable alphabet. This negative result prompts at least two different approaches: the introduction of smaller sub-classes of sources known as envelope classes, over which adaptive coding may be feasible, and the redefinition of the performance criterion by focusing on compressing the message pattern. Finally, Chapter 4 deals with the question of order identification in statistics. This question belongs to the class of model selection problems and arises in various practical situations in which the goal is to identify an integer characterizing the model: the length of dependency for a Markov chain, number of hidden states for a hidden Markov chain, and number of populations for a population mixture. The coding ideas and techniques developed in previous chapters allow us to obtain new results in this area. This book is accessible to anyone with a graduate level in Mathematics, and will appeal to information theoreticians and mathematical statisticians alike. Except for Chapter 4, all proofs are detailed and all tools needed to understand the text are reviewed.

Book excerpt: About the Book: Understanding God or the nature of this existence is a pursuit in which all of us are interested. It's a quest that transcends the boundaries of religion, culture, and belief systems. Questions like "Why are we here?", "Does God exist?", "What is God?", "What is the nature of Reality?" and "What is the point of this Universe?" are like stars that guide us in our search for meaning and purpose in life. These questions are not limited to the devoutly religious or the spiritually inclined. They are universal, arising in the minds of students grappling with the mysteries of the Universe, businessmen seeking fulfillment beyond material success, scientists probing the mysteries of existence, philosophers pondering the depths of human life, and even atheists challenging the very notion of God. It is as if these questions are etched into our souls, urging us to explore the depths of our existence and the nature of the world we inhabit. This book is my humble attempt to capture something that cannot be captured, Define something that cannot be defined, and Explain something that cannot be conceived within our Minds. With this book, I invite you to a journey of self-discovery. Together let's explore the nature of this existence; look at some of the teachings from the ancient Vedas and Upanishads; look at what modern science is saying; let's contemplate and meditate. And through all this, Let us together Decode GOD. (This book is based on the teachings of ‘Adhvaitha Vedanta’, which is the essence of the Ancient Vedas and Upanishads.) About the Author: Sujan Setty is an architect, seeker, and a student of Adhvaitha Vedanta. He takes you on a journey to unravel the mysteries of ‘God’ in the book, ‘Decoding God’. Sujan's deep passion for understanding the nature of reality inspired him to explore different scriptures and philosophies, which led him to discover the teachings of Adhvaitha Vedanta, which in turn led him to write this book. Through his writing, he invites readers to join him on a profound and transformative quest, where the wisdom of Adhvaitha Vedanta enlightens one on the true nature of existence. The book is a result of Sujan's sincere desire to share his understanding.
