La stabilité robuste locale de la commande non linéaire ainsi définie est démontrée. De plus, cette commande est évaluée sur une,application, la suspension magnétique, et ses avantages sont mis en évidence. Comme la commande proposée est restreinte aux systèmes dont l'état est connu, une manière de l'étendre à d'autres systèmes, en utilisant des observateurs d'état, est étudiée.

Cedernier, exploite les modèles locaux du système obtenus par linéarisation autour de certains pointsde fonctionnement. La commande développée est basée sur les modes glissants d'ordre deux avecSuper-Twisting. Nous avons proposé deux systèmes flous type-2 adaptatifs, qui ont comme uniqueentrée la surface de glissement, pour résoudre le problème du calcul de la valeur optimale des gainsde la commande. Des résultats de simulation ont permis de comparer les performances de l'approcheproposée avec la méthode classique. Ensuite, nous avons introduit le concept de l'intégral sliding modepour imposer à priori le temps d'arrivée sur la surface de glissement. Les approches proposées sontgénéralisées aux cas des systèmes multivariables. Plusieurs résultats par simulation et implémentationen temps réel sont présentés pour illustrer les performances des approches développées.

Ces travaux se concentrent sur l'analyse de robustesse de lois de commande obtenues par linéarisation par bouclage.Deux lois de pilotage sont exposées : une loi de commande linéaire dite "classique" et une loi de commande non linéaire reposant sur la technique de linéarisation entrée-sortie. Une méthode de réglage s'appuyant sur une optimisation par algorithmes génétiques est proposée. Une comparaison des résutlats obtenus dans les deux cas montrent un avantage de la version non linéaire en termes d'augmentation de la manoeuvrabilité (incidence) et d'homogénéité des réponses temporelles vis-à-vis des consignes en accélération.Pour résoudre le problème de l'analyse de robustesse, deux approches sont proposées. Une première, dite pragmatique, fait appel aux outils de l'analyse linéaire classique appliqués aux modèles linéarisés tangents du système non linéaire d'origine. La æ-analyse permet ainsi de garantir une robustesse locale vis-à-vis d'incertitudes sur le modèle aérodynamique de l'engin. La deuxième approche fait intervenir une modélisation Linéaire à Paramètres Variants du système et le concept de Contraintes Quadratiques Intégrales. Ces deux formalismes permettent d'une part une analyse de la robustesse sans approximation majeure et d'autre part de pallier les insuffisances de la æ-analyse en ce qui concerne les opérateurs non linéaires et/ou variant dans le temps. L'analyse se fait dans ce cas par calcul du gain L2.

AR&A techniques have been used to solve a variety of tasks, including automatic programming, constraint satisfaction, design, diagnosis, machine learning, search, planning, reasoning, game playing, scheduling, and theorem proving. In addition, AR&A techniques are useful for accelerating learning and for summarizing sets of solutions. This volume contains the proceedings of SARA 2002, the fifth Symposium on Abstraction, Reformulation, and Approximation, held at Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, Kananaskis Village, Alberta (Canada), August 2 4, 2002. The SARA series is the continuation of two separate threads of workshops: AAAI workshops in 1990 and 1992, and an ad hoc series beginning with the "Knowledge Compilation" workshop in 1986 and the "Change of Representation and Inductive Bias" workshop in 1988 with followup workshops in 1990 and 1992. The two workshop series merged in 1994 to form the first SARA. Subsequent SARAs were held in 1995, 1998, and 2000.
