The implications of this are enormous because the formation of our eternal soul is taking place in the current age. It begins as a sovereign work of God but our participation with the Holy Spirit plays a significant role in the degree to which it continues. The degree to which our soul is transformed on earth determines the degree to which we will be capable of reflecting the glory of God in eternity.
