Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Is God good? Is He Just? Has He predetermined who will be saved and who will not ...or has He limited His control and knowledge? The debate has raged for centuries. Logic tells us that God can’t both know and not know what man will do ...yet the Bible clearly teaches both! As long as Christianity embraces the infallibility of the Bible, it is forced to live with the dichotomy. But what if one of these positions has its origins in a Biblical author who was a fraud? Yeshua and The Law versus Paul the False Apostle boldly goes where Christianity is forbidden and exposes the truth about Paul. In this book you will also discover that attaining eternal life is easy, there are TWO books of life, God is righteous in everything He’s ever done, and most importantly ...He is truly to be loved and adored for His Character.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Most commentaries on Acts are written by Western scholars for a Western audience. This book comes out of more than forty years of teaching in the Majority World. It is aimed at the new breed of emerging missionaries from Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The apostles in Acts faced a hostile world. Yet in that context, the Holy Spirit gave them incredible courage. The scenes of Peter, Stephen, and Paul facing angry mobs and the fury of the Jewish Sanhedrin are being played out in India, China, and Eritrea today. Acts teaches us how to have a "courageous witness in a hostile world." Further, this work addresses the powerful forces that assault the worldwide church--particularly the racism that splits the church all over the world. Acts: Courageous Witness in a Hostile World will thrill you as you see how God's Spirit overcomes every obstacle and keeps the church on track, even when we think all is lost. Read this book for yourself and become courageous.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is about Jesus, about the Apostle Paul, and about the book of Revelation. I always thought that to be faithful disciple of Jesus I had to believe that after Jesus Christ we did not have to wait for any other man, nor for any other name, in order to reach salvation; but I never applied this belief to Paul of Tarsus, commonly known as the Apostle Saint Paul. Despite my Catholic Education, several times, readings of passages of the Epistles of Paul had left me with serious doubts about them, especially those involving women, civil authority and submission to ecclesiastic authorities, among others, but the sound trust that I have been taught to have in the Bible, and that I still maintain, allowed me to live with those doubts until I studied the epistles. When I did it, the love for the truth and the faithfulness to Jesus Christ, that I also have been taught to have, left me with no other option but to admit that the Epistles of Paul have many errors, vices and even teachings directly opposed to Christ's teachings; and led me to realize that Paul was a false prophet responsible for the worst errors, and vices, that the Catholic Church and the Christian Church in general have committed and fallen into. Moreover, I realized that the defeat of the worst errors and vices that threaten our present and our future depends on our faithfulness to Jesus and to the word of Jesus, which we find in the Gospels, and on the recognition of the Apostle Paul as a false prophet. In addition, when I studied the book of Revelation, I found out that the Apostle Paul is clearly pointed out as the Second Beast of the book of Revelation. Furthermore, with this piece of the Puzzle I interpreted Chapter by Chapter the book, which reveals very important things concerning the plan of God regarding the Christian Church, the recognition of Paul as a false prophet, and about the times of the Second Coming of Jesus. If you want to better understand our past, our present and our near future, you should read this book. If you are a Christian who is in love with the Gospels, who loves Christ, who wants to love him even more, and who believes that nothing is more important than to be faithful to Jesus, this book is for you.

Book excerpt: www.TorahismBook.com - Are Christians required to keep the Law of Moses? How about the Ten Commandments? Was Jesus divine? Join R. L. Solberg in his new book, TORAHISM, where he confronts a modern heresy and dives into these and other critical questions related to the Jewish roots of the Christian faith. "It all began with a series of Facebook posts that an old friend posted just after Thanksgiving. He was aggressively taking Christians to task for celebrating the 'pagan' holiday of Christmas. This struck me as odd because I'd always known he and his wife to be strong Christians. And while I've debated with plenty of atheists over the alleged pagan roots of Christmas, I'd never heard this charge leveled by a fellow Christian. So I decided to chime in on his posts and soon discovered that I had stepped into a mystery of, well, biblical proportions..." ENDORSEMENTS: "Over a decade ago, I came to know Rob Solberg. He impressed me back then with his searching heart, scholarly mind, and passion for apologetics. He has now offered a masterful work, well researched and very well-argued. Were I still a seminary professor, I would require my students to write reviews on this volume." Dr. Stephen Drake, Former Professor of Ministry at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary "Impressively written and researched! Aberrant theologies have existed throughout time, requiring trusted biblical guides to bring much-needed reproof. Rob Solberg does this superbly in his book, Torahism. And, he accomplishes this task with much 'gentleness and respect' (1 Peter 3:15). Even if you are not immediately confronted with this heresy, a careful reading of Rob's book will deepen your understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ." Ed Smith, Ph.D., President, Williamson College "Engaging and well-developed content on a tough topic. Rob addresses lofty theological issues with incredible accessibility and application. He reminds us to not just stay in our heads and win arguments but to love people well as we fight for what is true." Derek Bareman, Lead Pastor, Church of the City Spring Hill "This is an excellent, balanced, scholarly refutation of the heretical teaching of Torahism. Solberg does so with a wide array of Scripture, great Christian writers across the centuries, and impeccable logic. Not only does it address and answer the challenge of this new heresy, it serves as an apologetic in the best tradition of Christian scholarship. Exceptional work. I have reviewed thousands of books in 30 years. This book deserves to be read!" Reverend David "Doc" Kirby (retired), Host of the On The Bookshelf podcast FROM THE FORWARD BY PAUL WILKINSON, Ph.D. - "The best conversations are those that happen spontaneously amongst sincere, passionate seekers wanting to learn, mature, and progress in their faith and life. R. L. Solberg has blessed us by inviting us into just such a conversation . . . This book is a read that flows because it originates in genuine conversations between friends and passionate believers. It is reminiscent of the ancient dialogues with questions, points, and counterpoints. But be sure to catch this truth: Solberg's work is not about how to do the least work for the most grace, nor is it about how to avoid obligations, duties, and work. No, much more than that, Solberg's question is about how we who claim to be children of God best glorify, worship, and obey him . . . Solberg wants to know what it means to be "godly" and "righteous" in light of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. I invite you into Rob and his friends' conversation. I was challenged, encouraged, and taught by the insights he brings to the fore. I pray that you heed his call to take seriously what it means for the Christian to live the godly life; to be like Jesus."

I always thought that to be a faithful disciple of Jesus I had to believe in the words that Jesus spoke and taught to the twelve apostles, that he personally chose, prepared and credited publicly, without adding to them the words of any other man; but I never applied this belief to the words of Paul of Tarsus. Despite my Catholic Education, several times, readings of passages of the Epistles of Paul had left me with serious doubts about them, for instance those that discriminate against women, teach that all authorities have been instituted by God, and command Christians to submit to ecclesiastic leaders. However, the sound trust that I have been taught to have in the Bible, and that I still maintain, allowed me to live with those doubts until I studied the epistles. When I did it, the love for the truth and the faithfulness to Jesus Christ, that I also have been taught to have, left me with no other option but to admit, that the Epistles of Paul contain many errors, vices and even teachings opposed to Christ's teachings; and led me to realize that Paul was a false prophet responsible for the worst errors and vices that the Catholic Church, and the Christian Church in general, have committed and fallen into. The Inquisition is a good example. Moreover, I realized that the defeat of the worst errors and vices that threaten our present and our future depends on our faithfulness to Jesus, and to the words of Jesus, which we find in the Gospels, and on the recognition of Paul of Tarsus as a false prophet and false apostle. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: No contemporary evangelical scholar is better equipped than England’s F. F. Bruce to refute the proposition, advanced by liberal higher critics, that the theology of Paul represented a departure from that of Jesus. The Rylands Professor of Biblical Criticism and Exegesis at the University of Manchester admits differences in form between the messages of Jesus and Paul, crediting the dissimilarities to different perspectives. But, after Bruce delineates Paul’s gospel (distinguishing between those elements Paul received from God directly and those received from Christian tradition), he demonstrates that the ways of salvation to which Paul and Jesus pointed were identical in essence. Especially when discussing ethical matters, Paul was frequently dependent on Christ’s very words. Bruce concludes by tying Paul’s concept of the Lordship of Jesus to both Old Testament “wisdom” and the earliest Christian confessions.

Book excerpt: “Borg and Crossan reveal a figure who, besides being neither anti-Semitic, anti-sex, nor misogynist, stresses social and political equality among Christians and between them and others. A refreshing and heartening exculpation of a still routinely maligned figure of the first importance to culture and civilization.” — Booklist (starred review) John Dominic Crossan and Marcus J. Borg—two of the world’s top-selling Christian scholars and the bestselling authors of The Last Week and The First Christmas—once again shake up the status quo by arguing that the message of the apostle Paul, considered by many to be the second most important figure in Christianity, has been domesticated by the church. Borg and Crossan turn the common perception of Paul on its head, revealing him as a radical follower of Jesus whose core message is still relevant today.
