Les femmes primo-arrivantes sont une population à risque périnatal, particulièrement en Seine-Saint-Denis. Il existe encore peu de données qualitatives sur l'accompagnement femmes primo-arrivantes en médecine générale. Méthode : Étude qualitative de type phénoménologique interprétative. Des entretiens individuels compréhensifs ont été réalisés auprès de femmes primo-arrivantes ayant eu un suivi de grossesse et/ou accouchement en Seine-Saint-Denis dans l'année. L'analyse a permis I 'émergence de thèmes super ordonnés après triangulation. Résultats : Douze entretiens ont été réalisés. Quinze thèmes organisés en quatre thèmes super ordonnés ont émergé : navigation dans un nouveau système de santé ; rencontre et communication avec les soignants ; perception et ressentis autour de la grossesse et l'accouchement ; et migration, exil et isolement. Conclusion : L'état psychologique n'était pas spontanément abordé, bien que la tristesse soit clairement exprimée par les femmes primo-arrivantes, et nécessite d'être systématiquement évoqué. Il y avait une dissociation entre l'état psychique et la perception de l'expérience de grossesse. Les femmes se sont montrées toutes sensibles à la bientraitance, la continuité et la qualité de la relation soin. La prise en compte de la barrière linguistique et des conditions de vie est essentielle pour une orientation adaptée dans le système de santé.

Book excerpt: Child and adolescent psychiatry hosts a range of diverse epistemological positions regarding the origin of psychical suffering, from fully endogenous (e.g. genetic) to mostly exogenous (e.g. family trauma, etc.). The complexity of clinical situations generally precludes such epistemologies to require exclusive therapeutic strategies: psychodynamic psychotherapy can be fruitful in the context of monogenic genetic illnesses (at the family or individual level), while pharmacology can be a necessary tool in a variety of difficult relational contexts or personality issues (e.g. in adolescence). Thus nowadays, the most promising therapeutic perspectives in child and adolescent psychiatry attempt to do justice to the polyfactorial complexity of mental suffering (notably by refining their psychopathologies), by drawing on e.g. biopsychosocial or epigenetic models – even more so as prevention policies ask for longitudinal studies to help with the early detection of potential future troubles.

She and four other French women writers of the second half of the twentieth century—Nathalie Sarraute, Marguerite Duras, Monique Wittig, and Maryse Condé—illustrate that producing autobiography is like performing a tightrope act on the slippery line between fact and fiction. Autobiographical Tightropes emphasizes the tension in the works of these major writers as they move in and out of "experience" and "literature," violating the neat boundaries between genres and confusing the distinctions between remembering and creating. Focusing on selected works, Leah D. Hewitt for the first time anywhere explores the connections among the authors. In doing so she shows how contemporary women's autobiography in France links with feminist issues, literary tradition and trends, and postmodern theories of writing. In light of these theories Hewitt offers a new reading of de Beauvoir's memoirs and reveals how her attempt to represent the past faithfully is undone by irony, by literary and "feminine" detours. Other analysts of Nathalie Sarraute's writing have dwelt mainly on formal considerations of the New Novel, but Hewitt exposes a repressed, forbidden feminine aspect in her literary innovations. Unlike Sarraute, Duras cannot be connected with just one literary movement, political stance, style, or kind of feminism because her writing, largely autobiographical, is marked by chameleon like transformations. The chapters on Wittig and Condé show how, within the bounds of feminism, lesbians and women of color challenge the individualistic premises of autobiography. Hewitt demonstrates that, despite vast differences among these five writers, all of them reveal in their autobiographical works the self's need of a fictive other.
