Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
Download or read book Comment le principe actif est-il devenu un argument marketing dans l'industrie cosmétique ? written by Nikki Kabir and published by . This book was released on 2012 with total page 78 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book excerpt: The architecture of the human language faculty has been one of the main foci of the linguistic research of the last half century. This branch of linguistics, broadly known as Generative Grammar, is concerned with the formulation of explanatory formal accounts of linguistic phenomena with the ulterior goal of gaining insight into the properties of the 'language organ'. The series comprises high quality monographs and collected volumes that address such issues. The topics in this series range from phonology to semantics, from syntax to information structure, from mathematical linguistics to studies of the lexicon. Book Synopsis The Melanin Millennium by : Ronald E. Hall
Download or read book The Melanin Millennium written by Ronald E. Hall and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-09-14 with total page 353 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the aftermath of the 60s “Black is Beautiful” movement and publication of The Color Complex almost thirty years later the issue of skin color has mushroomed onto the world stage of social science. Such visibility has inspired publication of the Melanin Millennium for insuring that the discourse on skin color meet the highest standards of accuracy and objective investigation. This volume addresses the issue of skin color in a worldwide context. A virtual visit to countries that have witnessed a huge rise in the use of skin whitening products and facial feature surgeries aiming for a more Caucasian-like appearance will be taken into account. The book also addresses the question of whether using the laws has helped to redress injustices of skin color discrimination, or only further promoted recognition of its divisiveness among people of color and Whites. The Melanin Millennium has to do with now and the future. In the 20th century science including eugenics was given to and dominated by discussions of race category. Heretofore there remain social scientists and other relative to the issue of skin color loyal to race discourse. However in their interpretation and analysis of social phenomena the world has moved on. Thus while race dominated the 20th century the 21st century will emerge as a global community dominated by skin color and making it the melanin millennium.
Book Synopsis New Pesticides and Soil Sensors by : Alexandru Grumezescu
Download or read book New Pesticides and Soil Sensors written by Alexandru Grumezescu and published by Academic Press. This book was released on 2017-02-22 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: New Pesticides and Soil Sensors, a volume in the Nanotechnology in the Agri-Food Industry series, is a practical resource that demonstrates how nanotechnology is a highly attractive tool that offers new options for the formulation of ‘nanopesticides’. Recent advances in nanopesticide research is reviewed and divided into several themes, including improvement of the water solubility of poorly soluble pesticide active ingredients to improve bioavailability and the encapsulation of pesticide active ingredients within permeable nanoparticles with the aim of releasing pesticide active ingredients in a controlled or targeted manner, while also protecting active ingredients from premature photo-degradation. Provides examples of pesticide formulations that contain inorganic and organic nanoparticles Includes general principles and the most recent applications of chemical sensors and multisensory systems for the assessment of soils and main soil nutrition component detection Presents the main benefits and drawbacks of chemical sensors and their employment in soil analysis for further applications Describes current issues of pesticide use, environmental contamination, bioaccumulation, and increases in pest resistance which demands a reduction in the quantity of pesticides applied for crop and stored product protection
