Dabei wurde mit dem Ziel der Optimierung von Markenkommunikation über soziale Netzwerke untersucht, welche kulturellen Besonderheiten bei Influencern auf Instagram deutlich werden. Immanent war die Frage, ob bei der interkulturellen Zusammenarbeit mit Influencern auf eine differenzierte Marketing-Strategie geachtet werden muss. Anhand einer qualitativen Inhaltsanalyse nach Mayring wurden drei Instagram Profile im Zeitraum des Monats Februar 2018 untersucht, die sich den Kulturarealen Nordamerika, dem Nahen Osten und Asien zuordnen lassen. Die weiblichen Influencer haben zum Zeitpunkt der Untersuchung 200.000 bis 700.000 Follower auf der Social Media- Plattform Instagram und ein Alter zwischen 20 und 30 Jahren. Im Rahmen der Untersuchung wurden sowohl die Inhalte, als auch die Rahmenbedingungen der Veröffentlichungen im Untersuchungszeitraum untersucht und die Texte, die Bilder, die Regelmäßigkeit der Veröffentlichungen und auch die Interaktion hinsichtlich der Beiträge analysiert. Die qualitative Inhaltsanalyse mittels Codebuch zeigte, dass bei den drei verglichenen Kulturen in allen vier Unterkategorien Unterschiede deutlich wurden. Der asiatische Instagram Account teilt mehr Beiträge und zugehörige Textpassagen und Emojis, wohingegen der Account aus dem Nahen Osten im Zeitraum der Untersuchung verhältnismäßig mehr Produkte auf den veröffentlichten Bildern platzierte als die anderen beiden. Die nordamerikanische Influencerin zeigt vergleichsweise am meisten nackte Haut um im Zusammenhang mit Produktplatzierungen. Der Account aus dem Nahen Osten postete unregelmäßiger und seltener Beiträge als die anderen beiden. Aus Unternehmenssicht bietet sich somit auch bei User-Generated -Content durch Influencer eine differenzierte Strategie der Markenkommunikation an.

Interest in translation and music, however, has so far been relatively limited, mainly because translation of musical material has been considered somewhat outside the limits of translation studies, as traditionally conceived. Difficulties associated with issues such as the 'musicality' of lyrics, the fuzzy boundaries between translation, adaptation and rewriting, and the pervasiveness of covert or unacknowledged translations of musical elements in a variety of settings have generally limited the research in this area to overt and canonized translations such as those done for the opera. Yet the intersection of translation and music can be a fascinating field to explore, and one which can enrich our understanding of what translation is and how it relates to other forms of expression. This special issue is an attempt to open up the field of translation and music to a wider audience within translation studies, and to an extent, within musicology and cultural studies. The volume includes contributions from a wide range of musical genres and languages: from those that investigate translation and code-switching in North African rap and rai, and the intertextual and intersemiotic translations revolving around Mahler's lieder in Chinese, to the appropriation and after-life of Kurdish folk songs in Turkish, and the emergence of rock'n roll in Russian.
