Book excerpt: Writing became a way for me to express my dreams, desires, difficulties, as well as self-reflect on many situations. This anthology was inspired by societal issues as well as from my own personal challenges of anxiety and fear to expressions of hope and dreams. Many of the poems were already included in a previous book I had published titled, Fallen from Grace. The first edition was published in September of 2018 and then republished in 2019.. I noticed that many of my poems were similar to songs on the radio. Everyone has their own unique style of writing and when I see mine, I know it is mine. Not only were some lines copied, but the styles were exactly the same. All this happened after the publishing of my books that have been downloaded hundreds of times since initial publication with previous publishers. Then I began researching other people who this has happened to and found that this is not something new. I wanted to share my story and poetry and to make others aware of why and how plagiarism may still happen even after securing copyrights...it continues anyway. Original creators should be given credit for their works and I hope this changes in the future...I know how much work and time it takes to create anything original and I hope anything you produce is given proper credits for. This book reviews that and also includes my original book, Fallen from Grace.

After that section, I discuss Fallen from Grace, which is about my personal experience of dealing with a stress-related debilitating illness and what I did to get better. I have researched a lot of information and hope it will help others who may be experiencing similar things.
