Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book, the 15th of 15 related monographs on Cubic Dynamic Systems, discusses crossing and product cubic systems with a crossing-linear and self-quadratic product vector field. The author discusses series of singular equilibriums and hyperbolic-to-hyperbolic-scant flows that are switched through the hyperbolic upper-to-lower saddles and parabola-saddles and circular and hyperbolic upper-to-lower saddles infinite-equilibriums. Series of simple equilibrium and paralleled hyperbolic flows are also discussed, which are switched through inflection-source (sink) and parabola-saddle infinite-equilibriums. Nonlinear dynamics and singularity for such crossing and product cubic systems are presented. In such cubic systems, the appearing bifurcations are: parabola-saddles, hyperbolic-to-hyperbolic-secant flows, third-order saddles (centers) and parabola-saddles (saddle-center).

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book, the twelfth of 15 related monographs on Cubic Systems, discusses self and product cubic systems with a self-linear and crossing-quadratic product vector field. Equilibrium series with flow singularity are presented and the corresponding switching bifurcations are discussed. The volume explains how the equilibrium series with connected hyperbolic and hyperbolic-secant flows exist in such cubic systems, and that the corresponding switching bifurcations are obtained through the inflection-source and sink infinite-equilibriums. Finally, the author illustrates how, in such cubic systems, the appearing bifurcations include saddle-source (sink) for equilibriums and inflection-source and sink flows for the connected hyperbolic flows, and the third-order saddle, sink and source are the appearing and switching bifurcations for saddle-source (sink) with saddles, source and sink, and also for saddle, sink and source.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book, the fifth of 15 related monographs, presents systematically a theory of product-cubic nonlinear systems with constant and single-variable linear vector fields. The product-cubic vector field is a product of linear and quadratic different univariate functions. The hyperbolic and hyperbolic-secant flows with directrix flows in the cubic product system with a constant vector field are discussed first, and the cubic product systems with self-linear and crossing-linear vector fields are discussed. The inflection-source (sink) infinite equilibriums are presented for the switching bifurcations of a connected hyperbolic flow and saddle with hyperbolic-secant flow and source (sink) for the connected the separated hyperbolic and hyperbolic-secant flows. The inflection-sink and source infinite-equilibriums with parabola-saddles are presented for the switching bifurcations of a separated hyperbolic flow and saddle with a hyperbolic-secant flow and center. Readers learn new concepts, theory, phenomena, and analysis techniques, such as Constant and product-cubic systems, Linear-univariate and product-cubic systems, Hyperbolic and hyperbolic-secant flows, Connected hyperbolic and hyperbolic-secant flows, Separated hyperbolic and hyperbolic-secant flows, Inflection-source (sink) Infinite-equilibriums and Infinite-equilibrium switching bifurcations.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume contains the papers presented at the 29th Symposium on Mat- matical Foundations of Computer Science, MFCS 2004, held in Prague, Czech Republic, August 22–27, 2004. The conference was organized by the Institute for Theoretical Computer Science (ITI) and the Department of Theoretical Com- terScienceandMathematicalLogic(KTIML)oftheFacultyofMathematicsand Physics of Charles University in Prague. It was supported in part by the Eu- pean Association for Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS) and the European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics (ERCIM). Traditionally, the MFCS symposia encourage high-quality research in all branches of theoretical computer science. Ranging in scope from automata, f- mal languages, data structures, algorithms and computational geometry to c- plexitytheory, modelsofcomputation, andapplicationsincludingcomputational biology, cryptography, security and arti?cial intelligence, the conference o?ers a unique opportunity to researchers from diverse areas to meet and present their results to a general audience. The scienti?c program of this year’s MFCS took place in the lecture halls of the recently reconstructed building of the Faculty of Mathematics and P- sics in the historical center of Prague, with the famous Prague Castle and other celebratedhistoricalmonumentsinsight.Theviewfromthewindowswasach- lengingcompetitionforthespeakersinthe?ghtfortheattentionoftheaudience. But we did not fear the result: Due to the unusually tough competition for this year’s MFCS, the admitted presentations certainly attracted considerable in- rest. The conference program (and the proceedings) consisted of 60 contributed papers selected by the Program Committee from a total of 167 submissions.
Book Synopsis Chaotic Electronics in Telecommunications by : Michael Kennedy
Download or read book Chaotic Electronics in Telecommunications written by Michael Kennedy and published by CRC Press. This book was released on 2018-10-03 with total page 297 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: At the code level, discrete-time chaotic systems can be used to generate spreading codes for DS-SS systems. At the signal level, continuous-time chaotic systems can be used to generate wideband carriers for digital modulation schemes. The potential of chaos engineering is now recognized worldwide, with research groups actively pursuing the exploitation of chaotic phenomena in cryptography, spread spectrum communications, electromagnetic interference reduction, and many other applications. Although some noteworthy results have already been achieved, until now, the field has lacked both a systematic treatment of these developments and a careful, quantitative comparison of chaos-based and conventional techniques. Chaotic Electronics in Telecommunications fills both of those needs. It addresses the use of chaos in digital communications applications, from the coding level to circuit design. Each chapter offers a formal exposition of the theoretical and engineering tools needed to apply chaos, followed by discussion of the algorithms and circuits needed to apply the theory to real-world communications systems.
