Book excerpt: The deepest recess of every human heart craves for acceptance, admiration, affection, affirmation, approval, care, comfort, encouragement, recognition; in short, LOVE. All the striving for wealth and fame boils down to getting love. When we look to the world to satisfy that deep longing for love, we end up utterly disappointed and grossly manipulated. It is debilitating and depressing. We are looking for love in all the wrong places and faces. True love is seen in the sacrifices made. The sacrifice of all sacrifices is seen in the crucifixion of God the Son in human form as Jesus of Nazareth. It was the love of God the Father for us that nailed Him to the Cross. And it was the love of God the Son for us that kept Him there for the appointed duration of time. It is the love of God the Holy Spirit for us that motivates Him to remain within us. This amazing love is extraordinary in that God did so when we did not know just how much we needed it. We even spurned and despised it. What is love? In this is love: Not that we love God but that He first loved us.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From the author of The Rogue’s Folly comes a Regency romance celebrating the witty and romantic world that fans of Georgette Heyer have fallen in love with. When Truelove Becket’s betrothed went missing in a naval battle, she vowed never to marry unless she found someone she loved as much. In the seven years since then, the quiet vicar’s daughter has lived a simple and contented life helping the poor people of her village. But now another man has asked for her hand in marriage and, unsure if she is ready to commit to him, she agrees to accompany her beautiful cousin Arabella on a trip to visit friends so she can take time to think it over. Viscount Drake cut a dashing figure when he returned from war to a hero’s welcome, but the Battle of Waterloo left him a shattered and haunted man. As his dreams are invaded by the terrors of war he becomes a sleepless shell of a man, and as his torment grows he begins to wonder if marriage to the lovely Arabella will help restore him again. But as Arabella coquettishly flirts to secure Drake’s hand and his riches, it is the pretty and practical True he turns to for solace. With the weight of her marriage proposal bearing down on her, True finds herself irresistibly attracted to Drake’s quiet dignity and genuine distress, just as he finds himself drawn to her honest nature and soothing compassion. When a spark of passion ignites between these two who have both lost so much to war, they will have to confront their biggest fears—and everyone else’s plans for their futures—to discover if love can truly cure all ills. “[Miss Truelove Beckons] is well written and flows brilliantly. A wonderful heart-wrenching and romantic tale.” —Goodreads

Book Synopsis Cross Over the Jordan by : Lee Kah Wor
Download or read book Cross Over the Jordan written by Lee Kah Wor and published by Lee Kah Wor. This book was released on 2022-03-05 with total page 32 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This eBook is a result of ingesting the sermon of 27 February 2022 by Pastor Joseph Prince of New Creation Church (NCC). The contents herein are my personal takeaway and not endorsed by Pastor Prince nor NCC. The phrase “cross over” jumped out at me as I was listening to the sermon. As I meditate on it, it brought to remembrance God’s message to NCC to study the life of David. In the process of mulling over this eBook, David’s mighty men, also known as “The Thirty”, came to my mind. They were the ones who abided with David through thick and thin. The risen Jesus is calling us to go all the way with Him despite seemingly contradictory circumstances. Just cross over to Him and He will provide for us there; in the place of Goshen, which in Hebrew means “drawing near”. If we keep trying to figure and sort out life based on our own limited ability and understanding, we will never get it right. But when we cast it to our loving Father God, we will find it (Matthew 10:39; 1 Peter 5:7). God the loving Father has delivered us from the power of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:13-14, NKJV). Yet, this good news or Gospel is veiled as stated in 2 Corinthians 4:4 (NKJV). Consequently, there are some who would rather hold on to the problems which they can see, hear, feel, touch, and taste than to accept a solution that their five senses are not able to comprehend. Until and unless they can understand exactly the “Who, What, When, Where, How and Why” behind the solution, they simply cannot accept it. The unknown is too inconceivable. In their perception, they are but a “grasshopper” to the giants of the unknown (Numbers 13:33). Jesus is calling us to cross over; from the known into the unknown, from the seen into the unseen, from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God. The loving Father God is offering His Kingdom that cannot be shaken. In these times of turbulent shaking, it is my fervent hope that you will catch a glimpse of God’s love for you in this free resource.
Book Synopsis The Way to Health and Vitality by : Lee Kah Wor
Download or read book The Way to Health and Vitality written by Lee Kah Wor and published by Lee Kah Wor. This book was released on 2022-02-25 with total page 67 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This eBook is a result of ingesting the Sunday sermon of 20 February 2022 by Pastor Joseph Prince of New Creation Church (NCC). The contents herein are my personal takeaway and not endorsed by Pastor Prince nor NCC. Five Biblical life examples are cited to show how we can behold or see the Lord Jesus Who is the way to robust health, vigor and vitality. In the process, it becomes rather clear what hope, faith and obedience really mean. As you dive into the book, you will see for yourself that all those wonderful attributes are imparted to us from God Himself. God wants us to remain strong and robust so that He can expand His Kingdom or family through us. The only thing in the entire cosmos that has been weighing heavily on God’s heart is the salvation of fallen humanity. There is simply nothing that will bring such joy unspeakable to God than the salvation of sinners. The emphasis is not on the goodness of Christians but rather, the goodness of God that is seen in the lives of Christians. In all honesty, I would not have become a Christian if I had judged God's goodness based on the behavior of Christians. We are on the way to recovery in Christ. It is a life-long process and therefore, we can never live up to the expectations of everyone. Frankly, we do not need to do that either (Romans 14:4). We do not need the good opinions of others to be accepted by God because we are accepted in Christ the Beloved (Ephesians 1:6, KJV). Hence, do not look at our imperfections and dismiss God's perfect love. Why lose out on all the wonderful things that God has in store for you because of perceived misdemeanor (Jeremiah 29:11)? It is my fervent hope that this resource may in some way provide a glimpse of the perfect love of God for you.

Book Synopsis Be Present in the Now by : Lee Kah Wor
Download or read book Be Present in the Now written by Lee Kah Wor and published by Lee Kah Wor. This book was released on 2021-09-28 with total page 50 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is about the very presence of our Lord Jesus Christ in the here and now. By Him crucified, what used to be seasonal blessings is NOW an on-going experience. We stand on favor ground in a state of grace; drenched in the avalanche of God’s blessings. Our path or life drips with abundance! By the disobedience of Adam, a “State of Emergency” was declared. But by the obedience of our Lord Jesus Christ, “The State of Grace” has taken over. Adam brought death but Christ brought salvation – Romans 5:14. Lessons are drawn from Martha and the elder brother in the Parable of the Prodigal Son to accentuate how we can miss the Lord’s presence by not being present in the Now presence of the Lord Jesus. We see how God sees us in Christ. We are what God said we are in Christ. We have what God said we have in Christ. The Lord Jesus is with us RIGHT NOW. We have His PRESENCE at this very MOMENT. Since I have such a Tower of strength with me, fear has no place in my domain – Psalm 118:6; Romans 8:31; 1 John 4:18. May you be blessed by the new perspective that is presented in this book!
Download or read book Take, Eat, Drink written by Lee Kah Wor and published by Lee Kah Wor. This book was released on 2021-11-04 with total page 17 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God the Father gave God the Son a sóma (mortal body) to capture the sarx (flesh) so as to nail it to the Cross. Christ crucified is the death of sarx; yours and mine – 1 Peter 3:18, AMP. For this reason, we are dead to sin and alive to God! The devil exploits the Law to arouse the flesh (sarx) in us to sin against God to our own detriment. Now that sarx has been put to death in the sóma of Christ Jesus on the Cross, sin shall have no dominion over those who are in Him – Romans 6:14, AMP. Christ has been put to death in the flesh (sarx) and the death He died, He died to sin once and for all – Romans 6:10, 1 Peter 3:18, AMP. Partaking of the Holy Communion is the power to practically overcome sin; not just the sinful desires but also the diseases and infirmities that come with it. No wonder the early Church devoured the Holy Communion; breaking bread daily from house to house as recorded in Acts 2:46! This booklet takes an in-depth look into discerning the Lord’s Body by distinguishing sóma from sarx as well as partaking of the Holy Communion as a whole.
Book Synopsis Mary Magdalene Beckons by : Mercedes Kirkel

Book excerpt: Experience Mary Magdalene as a rising teacher in today's spiritual arena. Through 25 insightful messages, Mary focuses on issues that often aren't addressed by spiritual leaders -- uniting the Feminine and Masculine, healing body shame, the sacredness of sexuality, and emotional mastery -- explaining how these are essential for living in the heart. Mary's universal teaching, paired with the author's clarifying commentary, makes this award-winning book a treasure-trove of Feminine guidance and spiritual truths. Mary describes her partnership with Yeshua (Jesus) as loving equals, including being co-teachers for their shared work. Mary's role was to bring the Feminine aspect of their teaching, which they knew the world wouldn't be ready to receive for 2000 years. In sharing her long-hidden teaching, Mary shows us what it is to be a powerful, spiritual woman in complete union with her beloved male partner (Yeshua) and the Divine Masculine. MARY MAGDALENE BECKONS was birthed over a one month period, when Mary Magdalene came daily to author Mercedes Kirkel with her extraordinary messages. A tag team of three boxing schools challenged Jesus! Three deadly and fatal jabs were delivered in the form of seemingly pious and earnest questions: 1. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar? 2. In the resurrection, whose wife is the woman married to seven brothers who died one after another without a child? 3. Which is the greatest commandment in the Law? See the sinister intent that was lurking behind each of those questions. Watch how Jesus took down each one of them with just a single knock-out punch. Observe Jesus' heart of love as He neutralized each diabolical onslaught. Listen to what Jesus was trying to unveil as He asked for the interpretation of Psalm 110:1. Book Synopsis What has the Law got to do with the Church? by : Lee Kah Wor
Download or read book What has the Law got to do with the Church? written by Lee Kah Wor and published by Lee Kah Wor. This book was released on 2021-11-09 with total page 16 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Church is made up of Gentiles predominantly. Even Jews who belong to the Body of Christ realized that justification is not by the works of the Law but by grace through faith in Christ. So what is the hype about the Law in the Church? In other words, what has the Law got to do with the Church? As an analogy, the Law as a husband is dead. The woman (Church) is now married to another husband, Jesus the Christ, and she belongs to Him, the new husband – Romans 7:1-4. Why talk about the dead husband (Old Covenant) when the new loving husband (New Covenant) is alive and kicking (Ephesians 5:25)? What's Law gottta to do, gotta do with it? What's Law but a second-hand covenant (Hebrews 8:13)! Who needs the Law which we're sure to have broken (Romans 3:23; James 2:10)? Is this antinomian? Certainly not! We confirm and establish and uphold the Law for the reason it was given; to convicts us all of sin and point to the need for salvation that is only found in Christ crucified – Acts 4:12; Romans 3:31. This booklet examines the role of the Law in the Church.
Download or read book Guard Your Heart written by Lee Kah Wor and published by Lee Kah Wor. This book was released on 2021-09-08 with total page 50 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As we navigate through the vicissitudes of life, we inevitably allow the heavy burden of condemnation from the past and the unsettling rush to prepare for the future squeeze out the joy of the present! We find the mind being pulled in many directions and the heart weighed down by debilitating emotions. In the process of surviving the mindless and ludicrous rat race, we lose our very self. The devil has blinded our minds to allow the fallen world to define our identity with insignificant temporal things such that we completely lost sight of the much more significant things of eternal value – 2 Corinthians 4:4, 18. We are unwittingly wasting the present by regretting the past and worrying about the future. Elohim did not mean for us to have such a miserable life. The devil attacks restfulness. This concept was illustrated in the first ever battle fought by ancient Israel against Amalek in Rephidim when they departed from Egypt – Exodus 17:8-14. The fundamental meaning of a doctrine or concept is found the first time it is mentioned in the Bible. This is the Principle of First Mention. The first mention of a concept in the Bible is the simplest and presented in an easy-to-understand fashion. More complex doctrinal concepts are then developed from this basic foundation. “There’s a kind of rush, all over the world to bite. All over the world you can hear the sighs of sorrowful plight. You know what I mean. So listen very carefully get closer now and you will see what I mean So stressed till you’re steamed!” From studying the account of the first battle of ancient Israel, we find our Lord Jesus hidden in those passage of scriptures. As we behold the beauty and perfection of the person of Jesus in the Bible, we will be encouraged while waiting on the Lord to manifest the wonderful blessings He has died to give us. It is the cure for worry and anxiety. We can participate in the present moment and not be pounded by the regrets of the past or pressurized by uncertainties of the future. Let’s flow with the rhythm of grace – Matthew 11:28-30, The Message. This book is about the paramount importance of guarding the heart and how to focus on the one thing needful for both mental health and total well-being. Chapter 1 - Condemnation from the Past Chapter 2 - Worry and Anxiety for the Future Chapter 3 - Living in the Present Chapter 4 - Lesson from New Testament Chapter 5 – Messianic Credentials Chapter 6 - Lesson from New Testament

Book excerpt: “Sometimes everything i write is with a threadbare yearning of my eyes, from what i have seen and heard about, but more from how i feel. I can only express that the desert is a fort, that can be owned by none, it creates its own boundaries, and has a thousand shifting names, it is constant and has remained powerful. It is a reminder that everything in the end, but returns to the dust. The Parable is a tracing of its numerous stories that are, but also an emotion of how, if i were - the art, the lover, the desert, the sand or simply the ocean that left!”
Book Synopsis Grieving the Holy Spirit by : Lee Kah Wor
Download or read book Grieving the Holy Spirit written by Lee Kah Wor and published by Lee Kah Wor. This book was released on 2021-10-30 with total page 54 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The word “Elohim” means “Gods” in Hebrew. It refers to the Triune God; three distinct Persons existing as one God. The very life within us is God the Holy Spirit, the third distinct Person of the Godhead - John 7:38-39. The definitive difference between the Old and New Testaments is the indwelling Holy Spirit. He is the gracious gift from God the Father after the death, burial and resurrection of God the Son as Jesus the Nazarene. According to John 14:26 and John 16:13, the blessed Holy Spirit will: 1.Teach us all things; 2.Helps us remember all that Jesus had said; and 3.Guide us into the full and complete truth. Hence, do not grieve the Holy Spirit and thereby sabotage the victorious life that is ours to possess on this side of heaven – Ephesians 4:30. This books traces the root cause of grieving the Holy Spirit by examining scriptures from both the Old and New Testaments.
