They also hope, but not very confidently, that they shall be able to issue the third volume during the course of the summer of 1878, or at the latest in the year 1879. Material, still more valuable than that already published, exists in abundance, and matured experience has suggested improvements upon the original plan, which will make our succeeding volumes still more useful to every studious and scientific practitioner who appreciates the advantages of exact pathology, correct diagnosis.
