All proceeds benefit Gospel for Asia. Who knows the true depth of their sin against God? I am thankful to God that I can earnestly say, “I stand in a heap of sin so insurmountable that if it were not for the grace of Jesus Christ and His propitiation, I would forever be undone by my atrocities against the Lord my God.” Endorsement: “Realities of a True Christian is a book in the line of many others that have come out recently, that give a clarion call to the professing church with the message of true salvation. Many a church member will do well to test their lives according to some of these things written. Download or read book The Bravehearted Gospel written by Eric Ludy and published by Harvest House Publishers. This book was released on 2008-08-01 with total page 258 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Eric Ludy calls believers to put a stop to an alarming trend in today's church. Contemporary culture has accused Christians of being politically incorrect, unloving, and narrow-minded in their devotion to God and His Word. And the church has unwittingly played right along: It has grown to have more in common with the world than with Christ It seems more concerned about pleasing men than God It sets aside the pursuit of eternal truth for the pursuit of temporal pleasures How serious is the problem, and what are the solutions? What does a bravehearted kind of Christianity look like? Eric presents the Christianity of the Bible as the most explosive, most vibrant, most extraordinary force on Earth—a force meant to bring glory to the Most High God and turn people's hearts in His direction. After reading The Bravehearted Gospel, no Christian will ever want to go back to "Christianity as usual"!
Book Synopsis The Mystery of the Gospel by : Evangelist Victor A. Sackey
Download or read book The Mystery of the Gospel written by Evangelist Victor A. Sackey and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2016-11-18 with total page 101 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Mystery of the Gospel: Revealing the First Century Truths About the Kingdom of God is an attempt to expose the messages of the coming kingdom of God to earth, which Christ brought down from the Father unto mankind. This knowledge is not known by majority of professing Christendom, but God wants the latter to be encompassed by the truth because it is evident that there is an undeniable force, power, and sovereignty of the Spirit of God moving within the true church of God and also the end-time charismatic movement of Christians. The coming of Christ and his establishment of the church of God became the standard and benchmark for living the Christian life at the time. However, due to opposing forces to the church of God and the first followers of Christ, the truth became suppressed. In other words, the first-century message and essence of the coming of Christ to proclaim his coming kingdom became lost or seriously flawed. Fortunately, Christ gave a promise concerning his church. He said, I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Despite the continuous existence of Gods true church, God is still real and moving in the lives of all professing Christians who are in the majority but are ignorant of the existence of the true church of God. God is not out to save all of humanity in this lifetime but will introduce and reeducate humanity to the laws and government of heaven in the millennial rule of Christ here on earth. God is a family, and as Christ is the firstborn of many brethren, so shall the first-fruit saints be called, begotten, and then born or resurrected as sons and daughters, and the rest of the professing Christians as the children being re-taught the truths, laws, statutes, and commandments of God in the kingdom.

Book Synopsis True Gospel Revealed anew by Jesus Vol I by : James E. Padgett
Download or read book True Gospel Revealed anew by Jesus Vol I written by James E. Padgett and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2014-06-26 with total page 414 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is the first of four volumes of messages received by James Padgett. The first edition was published in 1941, and contains the most significant of the spiritual concepts that he learned from Jesus and his disciples. Included in these concepts are: The true mission of Jesus, the structure of the Heavens, immortality, who and what is God, the Holy Spirit, the Resurrection, Forgiveness and the Vicarious Atonement. This is an amazingly coherent yet very simple set of teachings cover every question one might have. Yet these are sadly not the teachings that the churches currently teach even though one can see where in the New Testament support lies for what Padgett received. This edition has dates added, and a great many useful footnotes. It also has a message from James and Helen Padgett received in 2014 giving a great many personal details that were not previously known.
Download or read book The True Jesus written by David Limbaugh and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2017-04-10 with total page 357 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A New York Times Bestseller! "Who do you say that I am?" Uttered by Jesus Christ, this profound question has presented an age-old challenge to believers, skeptics, scholars, and rulers. In attempting to answer this question, The True Jesus goes straight to the unimpeachable source: the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Only in the Gospels, says #1 New York Times bestselling author David Limbaugh, do we come face-to-face with the Son of God, Whose sublime teachings, miraculous actions, and divine essence leap off every page and into our hearts. In this book, Limbaugh combines the four Gospel stories into a unified account (though not, he humbly admits, a perfect harmony) and guides readers on a faith journey through the Four Evangelists' testimonies of the life of Jesus Christ. Along the way, Limbaugh shares his insights on Jesus' words and deeds as well as His unique nature as fully human and fully divine. In The True Jesus, you will learn: - Why even the apostles failed to completely understand Jesus' true identity and mission until after His crucifixion - The real basis for the rejection of Jesus' message by skeptics in His hometown and elsewhere - The historical events preceding Jesus' birth that providentially paved the way for Christianity - How Jesus' message utterly contradicted modern attempts to portray Him as being non-judgmental Limbaugh's passion for the Gospels infuses the pages of The True Jesus, which is both a primer for new Bible readers and an outstanding guide to the Gospels for long-time believers. Who really is the true Jesus? Open this book and begin your odyssey toward the answer.

Download or read book Real Christian written by Todd A. Wilson and published by Zondervan. This book was released on 2014-09-30 with total page 132 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The evangelical church is home to many who claim to follow Christ but who show little evidence of a truly transformed life. Todd Wilson's Real Christian: Bearing the Marks of Authentic Faith biblically defines what it means to be a true Christian, calling readers to look at their own lives and diagnose where they aren’t living authentically for God. With a prophetic voice, Wilson looks at how we deceive ourselves into thinking we are really living for God through believing the right things or doing lots of spiritual activities. In contrast, real Christians are marked by five key qualities: broken-hearted joy, a humble disposition, a readiness to acknowledge sin, an ability to live balanced and avoid legalism, and a deep spiritual hunger that drives growth. All of these qualities culminate in the single defining mark of a real Christian—love. To help in distinguishing genuine faith from counterfeit spirituality, Wilson draws upon the gospels, the writings of Paul, and the insights of theologian Jonathan Edwards to help readers understand the necessary marks of an authentic, transformed life, marks that show evidence of a new heart and bear spiritual fruit through the work of the Holy Spirit.
Download or read book Gospel Truth written by Russell Shorto and published by Open Road Media. This book was released on 2012-09-04 with total page 364 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Russell Shorto meticulously investigates Christian history and the Bible’s New Testament to reveal the true, historical Jesus Christ. For roughly two thousand years, the world has known only the biblical depiction of Jesus: the virgin birth, miraculous life, and resurrection. Recently, scholars have pursued the historical Jesus Christ by poring through texts, examining ancient documents, and even holding votes. They make a fresh attempt to answer some of history’s greatest questions: Who was he? Where did he live? What did he think? And was the Bible’s account true? In Gospel Truth, bestselling author Russell Shorto (The Island at the Center of the World) brings a journalist’s eye to the life of Jesus Christ. Shorto looks into the Jesus Seminar, where historians seek and analyze evidence of the world’s most famous carpenter’s son. He compiles their research and ideas to create a composite biographical portrait of Yeshu, a man of ordinary beginnings who changed the world in extraordinary ways. A skillfully compiled biblical interpretation, Shorto shows “a Jesus stripped of the unhistorical” (Library Journal). The result will fascinate believers and nonbelievers alike.
Book Synopsis The Gospel Truth by : Patrick T. Rhoads
Download or read book The Gospel Truth written by Patrick T. Rhoads and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2020-07-31 with total page 216 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The skepticism holding sway in our public society practically screams that one cannot be serious and also be Christian. This work exposes the lie to such skepticism. This book adopts the scientific method to demonstrate the underlying facts recorded in the Gospels. The arguments rely solely upon reason and objective criteria to substantiate their conclusions. This fast-paced work by a nuclear engineering executive with more than thirty-five years of experience will defy expectations. Rigorous and systematic, this apologetic work is curated with verve, energy, and wit. It will pique the interests of academics and lay audience alike by answering these questions: •Why is the resurrection a necessary but not sufficient condition for the rise of Christianity? •Who founded Christianity? Hint: it was not Saint Paul, as many suppose. •Why did the church retain all of the Hebrew Bible, even though only a small fraction pertains directly to the New Testament? •How does the church rectify the necessity of justice with the virtue of mercy? •Why did his first followers call Jesus the Christ while fully aware that he did not satisfy the expectations of the Christ in the Hebrew Bible? At the end of the book, readers will ask the same question about Jesus that Jesus asked of the apostles, “Who do you say that I am?”
Book Synopsis The True Christians Love to the Unseen Christ by : Thomas Vincent

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The essence of Christianity is love. God is love, said the Apostle John. Obedience to God's commands is nothing more than a manifestation of our love to God. The Ten Commandments show how we are to love God and one another. Love, then, is of the utmost importance in true biblical Christianity. In this book, first written in the 17th century, and out of print since 1812, Thomas Vincent, known for his lectures on the Shorter Catechism of the Westminster Confession of Faith, expounds 1 Peter 1:8, whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see Him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable, and full of glory. This is one of the most poignant, tender books ever to come from a Puritan pen.

Book Synopsis Just Tell the Truth by : Richard Lischer
Download or read book Just Tell the Truth written by Richard Lischer and published by Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing. This book was released on 2021-02-23 with total page 232 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What does it mean to live the Christian life with conviction? Richard Lischer insists that Christians have a stake in the political and social conflicts that are dividing our culture. In whatever circumstance, Christians are obligated to tell the truth about what it means to be a follower of Jesus. In Just Tell the Truth, Lischer explores seasons of suffering, hope, and triumph in the light of the gospel. Drawing upon Scripture and the lives of both well-known and anonymous Christians, he helps his readers imagine what truthful living looks like. While remaining biblically and theologically rooted, the sermons eloquently engage the present moment, showing how Christian conviction has a place in the controversial realms of politics, racial justice, and the COVID-19 crisis. The nourishing meditations in Just Tell the Truth align the rhythm of the gospel with the curvature of human experience, empowering Christians to find the heart of God in what is too often a heartless world.
Download or read book Truth Plus Love written by Matt Brown and published by Zondervan. This book was released on 2019-04-23 with total page 209 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Imagine what our world might look like if Christians became known for remarkable love, as well as life-giving truth. The stakes are high and the need is great for Christians to represent Jesus to a watching world. And today, we have more influence than ever before--for better and for worse. We are among the first generations to have access to a global megaphone through social media. But it's not enough to speak truth louder to a noisy culture. To counter the reputation Christians have earned, our love must be just as loud. Ask evangelist Matt Brown, and he will tell you Christians today are facing a crisis of influence. In our rush to speak truth to today's tensions, cultural issues, and trending controversies, it becomes all too easy to focus on proving our points rather than extending God's grace. Conversely, when we seek only to love yet never proclaim a better way, we short-circuit God's plan. Truth Plus Love invites you to rediscover the biblical framework for engaging culture as ambassadors of Christ. Through biblical insight, cultural analysis, and practical principles, Matt Brown outlines how to champion truth without compromise, how to love unconditionally, and ultimately, how to step into this great adventure of representing God to the world. It's hard, it's messy, and it's the unfinished project of a lifetime, yet here we find our great adventure: representing God to a watching world.
