Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The widely accepted story of the founding of America is that The Mayflower delivered the first settlers from Plymouth to the New World in 1620. Yet in reality, the Jamestown settlers had already become the first English-speaking outpost thirteen years earlier in 1607. The Secret Founding of America introduces these two groups of founders - the Planting Fathers, who established the earliest settlements along essentially Christian lines, and the Founding Fathers, who unified the colonies with the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution - and it argues that the new nation, conceived in liberty, was the Freemasons' first step towards a new world order. Drawing on original findings and an in-depth understanding of the political and philosophical realities of the time, historian Nicholas Hagger charts the connections between Gosnold and Smith, Templars and Jacobites, and secret societies and libertarian ideals. He also explains how the influence of German Illuminati worked on the constructors of the new republic, and shows the hand of Freemasonry at work at every turning point in America's history, from Civil War to today's global struggles for democracy.

Book excerpt: "Adam Parfrey is one of the nation's most provocative publishers."—Seattle Weekly "Secret society historian Craig Heimbichner follows the Middle Path to wisdom. He works the graveyard shift in the secret lodge."—Joan d'Arc, Paranoia magazine Secret societies—now a staple of bestseller novels—are pictured as sinister cults that use hooded albinos to menace truth-seekers. Some conspiracy books claim that fraternal orders are the work of serpentine aliens and interbred humans who wish to supplant earth of its energy, and later, its very existence. On the other side of the aisle, books by high-ranked Freemasons—skeptical in tone but no less partisan in approach—protect their organization's public image by denying the existence of its most contentious ideas. Ritual America reveals the biggest secret of them all: that the influence of fraternal brotherhoods on this country is vast, fundamental, and hidden in plain view. In the early twentieth century, as many as one-third of America belonged to a secret society. And though fezzes and tiny car parades are almost a thing of the past, the Gnostic beliefs of Masonic orders are now so much a part of the American mind that the surrounding pomp and circumstance has become faintly unnecessary. The authors of Ritual America contextualize hundreds of rare and many never-before printed images with entertaining and far-reaching commentary, making an esoteric subject provocative, exciting, and approachable. Adam Parfrey is the author of Cult Rapture: Revelations of the Apocalyptic Mind and It's a Man's World: Men's Adventure Magazines, the Postwar Pulps. He is editor of the influential Apocalypse Culture series Love, Sex, Fear Death: The Inside Story of the Process Church of the Final Judgment. Craig Heimbichner has recently appeared on a National Geographic documentary about the Bohemian Grove, contributed to the Feral House compilation Secret and Suppressed II, and wrote about the famous occult order the O.T.O. in Blood and Altar.

Book excerpt: This up-to-date introduction to the complex world of conspiracies and conspiracy theories provides insight into why millions of people are so ready to believe the worst about our political, legal, religious, and financial institutions. Unsupported theories provide simple explanations for catastrophes that are otherwise difficult to understand, from the U.S. Civil War to the Stock Market Crash of 1929 to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York. Ideas about shadowy networks that operate behind a cloak of secrecy, including real organizations like the CIA and the Mafia and imagined ones like the Illuminati, additionally provide a way for people to criticize prevailing political and economic arrangements, while for society's disadvantaged and forgotten groups, conspiracy theories make their suffering and alienation comprehensible and provide a focal point for their economic or political frustrations. These volumes detail the highly controversial and influential phenomena of conspiracies and conspiracy theories in American society. Through interpretive essays and factual accounts of various people, organizations, and ideas, the reader will gain a much greater appreciation for a set of beliefs about political scheming, covert intelligence gathering, and criminal rings that has held its grip on the minds of millions of American citizens and encouraged them to believe that the conspiracies may run deeper, and with a global reach.

Did any of the founding fathers belong to any secret societies? Why are there pagan gods and ancient symbols all over Washington, D.C.? Could any of this affect your life today? Over the last century, the United States of America has transformed itself from a sovereign nation into a global empire without borders. In Ameroca's New World Order: A Global Atlantis for the Age of Aquarius, author Chris Tyson uncovers the true purpose of America known over a century before 1776. By understanding our nation's hidden past, the future of America's relationship to the rest of the world becomes clear. The founding fathers chose this country's destiny over 250 years ago. Now, you must choose your eternal destiny, with or without God. Once you read this book, you will never see America in the same light. Book excerpt: In My Double Life 1 Nicholas Hagger told of his four years’ service and double life as an undercover British intelligence agent during the Cold War (there revealed for the first time). Lost in a dark wood like Dante following his encounters with Gaddafi’s Libya and the African liberation movements, he found Reality on a ‘Mystic Way’ of loss, purgation and illumination, perceived the universe as a unity and had 16 experiences of the metaphysical Light. In My Double Life 2 he continues the story. He received new powers, coped with fresh ordeals, acquired three schools, renovated a historic house, and had 76 further experiences of the metaphysical Light. He founded a new philosophy of Universalism and new approaches to contemporary history, international statecraft and world literature. He produced nearly 1,500 poems, over 300 classical odes, five verse plays, two poetic epics, over a thousand short stories – and 40 books that include innovative literary, historical and philosophical works. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: My quest for an answer to the riddle of President Kennedys assassination first began in April 1967 following a talk given by Warren Commission critic and best-selling author, Mark Lane at Michigan State University where I was a graduate student. My search has lasted well over twenty years. Gathering every scrap of information I could find on the assassination, I have arrived at what I believe is the most credible thesis to date. As a result of meticulous research, I am able to identify probable suspects in what I have come to believe was a far-reaching conspiracy which involved not only renegade elements from the CIA and organized crime figures, but one which extended to the highest echelons of the U. S. government. By pulling together existing knowledge of the assassination, while introducing new evidence, my book focuses primarily on six main principals (persons of interest), their motives and their activities in relation to the assassination and the links that connect them: 1. LEE HARVEY OSWALD: Accused by the Warren Commission In 1964 of being the sole assassin of President Kennedy. 2. JACK RUBY: Dallas night-club owner who, two days following the Presidents assassination, shot and killed Oswald. 3. CARLOS MARCELLO: Reputed crime boss of the New Orleans- Dallas Mafia during the time of the assassination. 4. GENERAL CHARLES PEARE CABELL: Deputy Director of the CIA from 1953 to 1962 when he was dismissed by President Kennedy along with other high-ranking intelligence officials for the failure of the Bay of Pigs invasion. 5. EARLE CABELL: Younger brother of General Charles P. Cabell who was Mayor of Dallas the day President Kennedy was assassinated. 6. FRED KORTH: Fort Worth businessman and banker who was Secretary of the Navy from 1962 to October 1963 when he was forced by President Kennedy to resign for his involvement in the TFX controversy. As to the motives of those individuals involved in the Presidents murder, I believe that the assassination was planned and carried out with a dual purpose in mind: 1. as an act of vengeance by those ex-high government officials who were dismissed by the President either for alleged wrongdoing as in the case of Fred Korth, or for incompetence as in General Cabells case. 2. to prevent the Presidents domestic and foreign policies- particularly in reference to his stand on the Vietnam conflict- from being implemented. Viewed in this light, the assassination of President Kennedy was an act of retribution by a group of mean-spirited, vengeance-seeking individuals who acted in the misguided belief that by assassinating this president they were furthering the national interest. Notwithstanding his immense popularity with the American people, President Kennedy was perceived by his killers to be a clear and present danger to the country and to its interests at home and abroad for several reasonsfor his stand on civil rights and racial equality; for his attempt to closely regulate the oil and gas industry; for his desire to normalize relations with Cuba; for his desire to ease tensions between the superpowers through a reduction in armaments; for his crackdown on organized crime; for his stated intention to withdraw U.S. forces from Vietnam. Removing him from office by political murder, therefore, excused his killers in their own eyes from any wrongdoing, for by killing this President, they were convinced that they were acting in the national interest against the seemingly dangerous policies of a chief executive who, if allowed to finish his presidency, would lead the nation to ruin. A wise mind will never censure anyone for having employed any extraordinary means for {preserving} a kingdom. Believing, like Machiavelli, that they were acting to preserve and maint

Book excerpt: Americans would be shocked to understand just how their religious beliefs have been used against them in the political elites' efforts to engineer society and public policy. In this historical overview of key moments in American religious history, Gadsby demonstrates that what we are commonly-taught in our education systems, mass-media and the political world about religions' role in any number of events, is anything but. In the spirit of Lies My Teacher Told Me, Religious Delusions, American Style discusses eight areas in American history ranging from turn-of-the-nineteenth-century eugenics and the Scopes "Monkey" Trial, to the mind-control program known as Jonestown, to the implausible two-planes-three-buildings-straight-down operation called 9/11, we have been deceived in a big way about what has been done in the name of religion.

Book excerpt: This book is about the little-known fact that there are four different kinds of meditation—Witness Meditation, Transformative Meditation, Discursive Meditation, and Transcendental Meditation. More often, each kind of meditation is promoted and practiced apart from the others. But combined as a process, they lead to cosmic consciousness and more loving attitude toward one’s self and planet Earth. Instead of the violence of interpersonal competition and environmental exploitation so prevalent today, the ideals of peace, justice, and harmony can become the new reality given a more integrated approach to life’s material, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual realms of experience. But in spite of the enormous advances in technology, we are still caught up in unwinnable wars that cost lives and resources of all the participants; we are still confronted by the injustices of social and economic controls that have most recently resulted in meltdowns; and we are still faced with that seemingly unsolvable environmental problems that are plaguing our planet today . Seemingly, the leadership of our global community is failing us. So it’s up to us as individuals. Meditation and the Evolution of Cosmic Consciousness is not a how-to book, however. It is an attempt to identify the process in a way that can be imitated. To do so, Don Ayre has reviewed his private practice as a family and child therapist and the writings of a number of historical figures that he recognizes as “great minds” for evidences of cosmic consciousness that can be used to build a living model. Ayre invites his readers to examine their uses of meditation and the writings of their favorite authors to contribute their thoughts and ideas that will assist with the evolution of cosmic consciousness.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Nicholas Hagger's 55 books include innovatory works on literature, history, philosophy and international politics. In his first published literary work he revived the Preface, which had fallen into disuse after Wordsworth and Shelley. He went on to write Prefaces (sometimes called ‘Prologues’, ‘Introductions’ or ‘Introductory Notes’) for all his subsequent books. Collected Prefaces, a collection of 55 Prefaces (excluding the Preface to this book), sets out his thinking and the reader can follow the development of his philosophy of Universalism (of which he is the main exponent), his literary approach (particularly his combination of Romanticism and Classicism which he calls "neo-Baroque") and his metaphysical thinking. His Prefaces can be read as essays, and as in T.S. Eliot’s Selected Essays there is an interaction between adjacent Prefaces that brings an entirely new perspective to Hagger's works. These Prefaces cover an enormous range. Nicholas Hagger is a Renaissance man at home in many disciplines. His Universalism focuses on humankind’s relationship to the whole universe as reflected in seven key disciplines seen as wholes: the whole of literature, history, philosophy and the sciences, mysticism, religion, international politics and statecraft and world culture. Behind all the Prefaces is Hagger’s fundamental perception of the unity of the universe as the One and of humankind’s position in it. These Prefaces complement his Selected Letters, a companion volume also published by O-Books, and contain startling insights that illumine and send readers to the works the Prefaces introduce.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Silas Deane was the victim of one of the most vicious character assassination conspiracies ever carried out in the Revolutionary War era. Even after almost two and a half centuries, he remains in the eyes of many modern historians, "worse than Arnold," his boyhood friend. This is very wrong. Because Deane was such a capable individual in his endeavors very early in the war, he became the political target of envious others with quite different abilities and philosophies. Even so, his political strength kept growing and in 1776 Congress appointed him America's first secret agent to secure military supplies from France for Washington's army. This biography is written on the man himself and on the malicious and largely successful lies and intrigues by his rivals. The work does not downplay the contributions of his contemporaries, especially those of his close friend throughout, Benjamin Franklin, but shows exactly where specific credit should be placed. A lot of credit for the new nation's success belongs to him.
