Such a Catholic Spirit, afflfled by his good Senfe, made it, no doubt, much eafier for him, after re efting upon the Pop peties and Impo ures which he had feen in that Church during his Travels, to abjure the R0 wijh and to embrace the Traci/fan: Religion, which he did accordingly with great Devotion la Summer, at Berlin; after which, his Tm]? Ft'zm Majefty was pleas'd to diliinguifh him with peculiar Marks of his Favour and Efteem, by' declaring him one of the Gentlemen of his Bedchamber, and Chief cup-bearer of his Court and he has very lately given him a con fiderable Prebend.
