Book excerpt: “One of our great visionaries.” —Dr. Wayne W. Dyer “A rare blend of scientist, visionary, and scholar.” —Deepak Chopra A scholar and New York Times–bestselling author shares his shocking theory of an ancient language—found in the decoded elements of our DNA—that shines new light on the mysteries of existence. What would it mean to discover an ancient language—a literal message—hidden within the DNA of life itself? What we once believed of our past is about to change. A coded message has been found within the molecules of life, deep within the DNA in each cell of our bodies. Through a remarkable discovery linking Biblical alphabets to our genetic code, the “language of life” may now be read as the ancient letters of a timeless message. Regardless of race, religion, heritage, or lifestyle, the message is the same in each cell of every woman, child, and man, past and present. Sharing all-new, fascinating research, Gregg Braden discusses the life-changing discovery that led him from a successful career in the aerospace and defense industries to an extensive 12-year study of the most sacred and honored traditions of humankind.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There is a drive for a "New World Order" afoot and it's not an accident. The modern day descendants of the Moneychangers and allied fake religious leaders or Pharisees of Jesus' day are tying up some loose ends (2008). The introduction lays the groundwork for the rest of the book. Section 1 (posted on my website THEorYofLIVEvolution.com for length purposes) establishes the unique reality of Biblical Christianity. This is very important since a firm belief in a benevolent Creator is the only thing that stands between us and "Them" at this point. Section 2 points out the world is about to be plunged into a "New World Order" of Biblical proportions. If you think this scenario is outlandish, the "free" U.S., non-coincidentally, meets every one of the criteria for atheistic Communism listed in Marx's "Communist Manifesto." As Section 3 discusses, what "They" have planned for you on "Mother Earth" (if you're worthy of "evolution" at least) is the Nazis on steroids. My name is Robert Roselli and I am a licensed professional engineer in three states and hold an MS degree in civil engineering. I say this only to establish myself as a logically and scientifically grounded thinker. I desire no fame or profit for this endeavor. Any monies collected from this book beyond personal expenses will be donated equitably to links that appear at the end of my website site. Let this book be the introduction into the way the world really works and "de-tox" much of the Orwellian re-education we've all been fed by the establishment owned education system and mainstream snews. After you're done reading this introduction to the way the world really works please spend some time on my website and related links to keep abreast of our steadily unraveling descent "Into the Mouth of Madness."

Book excerpt: Write up given by editorial coordinator -Mansi Chauhan A path of enlightenment, peace, and knowledge of ancient scriptures, which was lost in the process of evolution but found again. The teachings of our past in the fields of Ayurveda, Meditation, and Yoga are being reintroduced to the folks of today. 'Answers from the Divine' provides us with answers to the question one asks ever since they know about the universe and its existence. It beautifully explains the doubts one has while taking reference from our ancient scriptures. 'Why were we created?', 'What is our fate?', 'How to be more connected to the universe?', and 'What are our roles in this universe?' - these questions are just a mere sneak of what the book holds. The author has made sure that their creation could be read by anyone and everyone. The simplicity and elegance of the content are admirable. It takes you through the pages of self-help and therapy to be a better version of yourself. The world has offered us a lot - good and bad; the choice is ours. We can either make peace with the bad or try to balance both till we give up. Affirmation and positivity walk hand in hand and the author gives it a reason and meaning which has the power to give us a small push towards the light of happiness. The author states that "The motive behind this book is not to influence people about religion or specific belief systems. The core idea is to convey divine wisdom written thousands of years ago to its destined seekers.", she wants to let the readers know that anyone and everyone is welcomed in her creative world without the need to be of a specific group of people. The book has elements that are known to your soul but unknown to your mind because you haven't been face to face with them. I would recommend this enlightenment and peace-filled world to you for reading. Maybe you can find some of your answers hidden in 'Answers from the Divine.'

Book excerpt: A timely and accessible guide to 100 of the most infamous logical fallacies in Western philosophy, helping readers avoid and detect false assumptions and faulty reasoning You’ll love this book or you’ll hate it. So, you’re either with us or against us. And if you’re against us then you hate books. No true intellectual would hate this book. Ever decide to avoid a restaurant because of one bad meal? Choose a product because a celebrity endorsed it? Or ignore what a politician says because she’s not a member of your party? For as long as people have been discussing, conversing, persuading, advocating, proselytizing, pontificating, or otherwise stating their case, their arguments have been vulnerable to false assumptions and faulty reasoning. Drawing upon a long history of logical falsehoods and philosophical flubs, Bad Arguments demonstrates how misguided arguments come to be, and what we can do to detect them in the rhetoric of others and avoid using them ourselves. Fallacies—or conclusions that don’t follow from their premise—are at the root of most bad arguments, but it can be easy to stumble into a fallacy without realizing it. In this clear and concise guide to good arguments gone bad, Robert Arp, Steven Barbone, and Michael Bruce take readers through 100 of the most infamous fallacies in Western philosophy, identifying the most common missteps, pitfalls, and dead-ends of arguments gone awry. Whether an instance of sunk costs, is ought, affirming the consequent, moving the goal post, begging the question, or the ever-popular slippery slope, each fallacy engages with examples drawn from contemporary politics, economics, media, and popular culture. Further diagrams and tables supplement entries and contextualize common errors in logical reasoning. At a time in our world when it is crucial to be able to identify and challenge rhetorical half-truths, this bookhelps readers to better understand flawed argumentation and develop logical literacy. Unrivaled in its breadth of coverage and a worthy companion to its sister volume Just the Arguments (2011), Bad Arguments is an essential tool for undergraduate students and general readers looking to hone their critical thinking and rhetorical skills.

This book was released on 2013-04-18 with total page 31 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the offered book the fundamentals of electromagnetic fields and waves are discussed based on the great Maxwell equations. The book is conceived as a textbook for serious technical and classical universities in the considered themes. Nevertheless, it can be used, of course, as the reference book for wide group of engineers, researches and practical experts. Material of this book is divided into four main parts connected between them. The first part (Fundamental of Electrodynamics) is devoted to explanation of Maxwell equations and methods of its solutions. Besides classical interpretation the generalized equations are discussed, which take into consideration the scalar magnetic fields. New approaches allow description of so-called longitudinal electromagnetic waves, which have the absolutely non-standard propagation properties, and permit to explain various electrodynamics paradoxes, which cannot be explained in another way. The main characteristics of wave processes in the free space and in transmission lines (feeders) are described. The second part (Radio Wave Propagation) investigates the obvious patterns of diffraction and interference phenomena at radio wave propagation for the obstacle presence in the propagation track, which is typical for all practical situations. Radio wave propagation of various frequency ranges is fulfilled separately taking into consideration the specific features of reflections from the atmosphere parts, attenuation in different media, types of propagating waves, multipath effects, diffraction and non-standard conditions of obstacle overcoming including non-usual ways of atmosphere ducts. The third part is devoted to description of various types and antennas, beginning from simplest (vibrators) and ending by complicate adaptive antenna arrays. Description is fulfilled on the reviewing level with many obvious figures, not to rely on strict mathematical methods, but rather on the concept level. Fourth part includes description of UHF devices, which are the elements’ base of UHF devices including surface and bulk integrated UHF circuits. These results have in many aspects the pioneer character and they are not widely known to experts. Distinctive feature of the offered book is sufficiently simplifies description of the very complicated electrodynamics problems available for the modern students and for young engineers. Of course, it is impossible to deal without mathematics in theses areas but required mathematics can be replaced by the many patterns, which give the chance to understand problems and to determine the complex questions. Leon Lederman embraces this spirit of inquiry as he moves from the Greeks' earliest scientific observations to Einstein and beyond to chart this unique arm of scientific study. His survey concludes with the Higgs boson, nicknamed the God Particle, which scientists hypothesize will help unlock the last secrets of the subatomic universe, quarks and all--it's the dogged pursuit of this almost mystical entity that inspires Lederman's witty and accessible history.
