Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Since there can be nothing outside of God, the creation forms the body of God, who appears in a person - the Primal Person - Adam Kadamon who has the body inclusive of all dimensions, including material dimension. I have tried to explain the existence of different types of angels as beings created by God in the various dimensions of creation which are the different organs of the Adam Kadamon. Just as we have an infinite series of life forms on earth from Amoebae to Man in the material kingdom, we should expect infinite variations life forms in other dimensions. This will explain the various forms of angels. Just as man is a being who is created with Divine dimension within, I presume that there are angelic beings with similar or more complex Divine dimensional existence in all other planes. These are therefore Sons of God. Sons of God reflect God and are beings with free will, which will explain the fall of the Angels and introduces the Demonology as part of Angelology

Download or read book Being a Man written by Ilona Zsolnay and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2016-08-05 with total page 300 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Being a Man is a formative work which reveals the myriad and complex negotiations for constructions of masculine identities in the greater ancient Near East and beyond. Through a juxtaposition of studies into Neo-Assyrian artistic representations and omens, biblical hymns and narrative, Hittite, Akkadian, and Indian epic, as well as detailed linguistic studies on gender and sex in the Sumerian and Hebrew languages, the book challenges traditional understandings and assumed homogeneity for what it meant "to be a man" in antiquity. Being a Man is an indispensable resource for students of the ancient Near East, and a fascinating study for anyone with an interest in gender and sexuality throughout history.
Book Synopsis The Book Of Women's Love by : Carmen Caballero-Navas
Download or read book The Book Of Women's Love written by Carmen Caballero-Navas and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2014-07-10 with total page 323 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: First published in 2005. The first part of this book is an historical study of the Hebrew written production on women's healthcare and of Jewish women's lives and experiences regarding the care of their bodies during the late Middle Ages in the Mediterranean West. The aim is to restore value to feminine knowledge and practices that were significant then and remain so today. The second part presents an edition translated into English with commentary of the Hebrew compilation Sefer Ahavat Nashim, the Book of Women's Love. This was compiled in the late Middle Ages and is preserved in a single manuscript from Catalonia-Provence. Its contents are concerned with magic, sexuality, cosmetics, and gynecology - areas of knowledge essentially, though not exclusively, related to women. The author focuses on the relation between women and health care and examines both women's knowledge and knowledge about women. This pioneering work makes a valuable contribution to the history of Jewish culture and Jewish women during the Middle Ages, and also makes a substantial contribution to the history of medicine.
