Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Why do Christians read, study and hear the Scriptures preached? It is because the bible is the word of God alone. How do we know this? Adoniram Byfield explains from Acts 24:14-16 that people ought to ground their faith only on the Word of God which is written. He explains that if people are to ground their sincere faith only on the written Word, then all who are wise unto salvation, must diligently read it, or, if they cannot read, diligently hear the Scriptures read in public congregations and elsewhere. This is because the Scriptures are the very Word of God. McMahon then takes up the consequence that the Bible is the word of God alone, in that, Christians ought to diligently esteem the ministry of the word. The word of God reveals God’s will in propositions. Christians must also profit from diligently cherishing God’s word. The knowledge of God, Christ and salvation is specially found in the Bible, and nowhere else. And when Christians diligently and highly esteem the word of God, they highly esteem the Lord Jesus Christ, the Eternal Word – the Logos of God. Added is an appendix to the work by Richard Greenham who set down principles that make bible reading and hearing profitable.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Scholar and pastor Matthew Barrett retraces the historical and biblical roots of the doctrine that Scripture alone is the final and decisive authority for God's people. God's Word Alone is a decisive defense of the Bible as the inspired and inerrant Word of God. Revitalizing one of the five great declarations of the Reformation—sola Scriptura—Barrett: Analyzes what the idea of sola Scriptura is and what it entails, clarifying why the doctrine is truth and why it's so essential to Christianity. Surveys the development of this theme in the Reformation and traces the crisis that followed resulting in a shift away from the authority of Scripture. Shows that we need to recover a robust doctrine of Scripture's authority in the face of today's challenges and why a solid doctrinal foundation built on God's Word is the best hope for the future of the church. This book is an exploration of the past in order to better understand our present and the importance of reviving this indispensable doctrine for the Christian faith and church today. —THE FIVE SOLAS— Historians and theologians have long recognized that at the heart of the sixteenth-century Protestant Reformation were five declarations, often referred to as the "solas." These five statements summarize much of what the Reformation was about, and they distinguish Protestantism from other expressions of the Christian faith: that they place ultimate and final authority in the Scriptures, acknowledge the work of Christ alone as sufficient for redemption, recognize that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone, and seek to do all things for God’s glory. The Five Solas Series is more than a simple rehashing of these statements, but instead expounds upon the biblical reasoning behind them, leading to a more profound theological vision of our lives and callings as Christians and churches.

In this defense of God's inspired Word, readers will comprehend what "God's Word"is, the nature of Scripture, the relationship of the Bible to tradition, how to apply Scripture to today's issues, and much more. Book excerpt: Th is book is going to blow your mind with exclusive truth that has been hidden for decades because it was not understood by the mainline Christian (Protestant) Churches and denominations. Read it for yourself and stop being deceived by your own church. You are going to learn something that you had not known before about JESUS in the Old and New Testaments; and his two natures during his incarnation on earth. Did you not know yet that the Almighty God of Abraham did not have a Son in heaven called Jesus? . . . Did you? . . . Really? Of course! JESUS was the Almighty God of Abraham before his incarnation through Mary at Bethlehem. HE alone created the heaven and the earth. Th ere is no other God besides him. None before him and after him. Worship is due to JESUS alone. He was the Father who became the Son of God through Mary at Bethlehem by the incarnation process. While JEHOVAH was in human fl esh called Jesus, he did not cease from being God the Father. As an immortal God from eternity, Jesus Christ’s divinity cannot die. Th erefore, only his humanity died at Calvary.

God Alone Is the Truth and the Way is a step-by-step guidebook that will reveal the cause and effect of the lies we believe, teach you how to take the blinders off, change your way of life, and live with a sense of peace. America and Americans are making the same fatal flaws that signaled the demise of Rome and the Romans and other once-prominent Western civilizations. Author Frederick Mahan attributes affluence, prejudice, and the seven deadly sins to the deterioration. He analyzes the fall of other Western civilizations and compares the phenomena with what is happening in America today. Mahan then calls on insight from history, religion, literature, and philosophy. He cites gifted contributors who share the truths about love, marriage, democracy, and freedom, and shares personal accounts of his own spiritual failures and successes. He ultimately invites and motivates you to explore a relationship with God personified in Jesus Christ. This ultimate survivor's manual will show you the way to live in an ever-changing and faithless world with a sense of direction and purpose and a genuine peace of mind.

The book describes Special Creation as the true origins of all matter and life, that God created the universe, not time and chance. As Creator, God alone has the right to give commandments and judge us. God’s original plan changed because of our sinful ways, so God sent His Son, Jesus, who has already come as Savior. Jesus will return to conquer Satan and all our enemies. All who accept Him as our Redeemer will abide with the Conqueror forever.

Book excerpt: There are so many different 'gospels' today, each presenting significantly different views about the Messiah (Who He is and what He has done), that clearly the questions which should be asked by everyone who professes to be a Christian (that is, a follower of Jesus Christ) are, "How will I know a false minister from a true one?" and "How can I know whether or not I have believed a false gospel or God's Gospel?" How is a man saved? How can we know if we are true Christians believing in the only Gospel that saves? What is God's only Gospel? Jesus Himself asked the religious leaders of His day, "...What think ye of Christ?..." (Matt. 22:42). These are vital questions about which every professing believer should be concerned. With all the lies that abound in our day concerning the Gospel and true salvation the question should not be whether we have faith but are we in THE Faith: "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in THE Faith..." (2 Cor. 13:5).

Book excerpt: Our constant danger is that we have a view of God that is too small. We are living in a me-focused, treat-yourself world—a world that incessantly encourages us to focus on ourselves. But a life turned inward—rather than focused on God—brings peril and confusion. When we fail to know God properly, we become selfish and hopeless. But a renewed understanding of who God is changes that. Pastor Jonathan Griffiths shows us how God Alone can transform us at a root level. With pastoral warmth and heart, Griffiths shows us the character of God in all His beauty and goodness. Readers will gain knowledge of God’s attributes—that He is eternal, all-knowing, and all-wise. Readers discover what it means that God is omnipotent, unchanging, and omnipresent. And through this knowledge, trust, hope, and joy emerge. Confidence grows when we have a robust understanding of God’s love. This book is both a plea for the people of God to know Him intimately and, at the same time, an invitation to those who do not yet know Him—come and experience the wonderful, beautiful, powerful God revealed in Scripture.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Jesus - The Way, The Truth and The Life" will prove that Jesus is the only Way to God, the very embodiment of all Truth and the very essence of Life, just as He declared of Himself in the fourteenth chapter and sixth verse of the gospel of John by saying, "I am the way, the truth, and the life and that no one comes to the Father except through Me." This book will show using systematic theology, proofs and truth arguments that Jesus is exactly who He says He is, confirmed by God the Father, the Holy Spirit and by Christ Himself. Jesus said in Mark 8; 27 of scripture "Who do you say I Am." This book will make it obvious why you must answer this pointed question just as Peter did in claiming to Jesus that "You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God". Time is getting short and Jesus is on His way back to earth. It's not a time to be confused or wrong on issues having eternal consequences. Though the book reads as a college textbook it forces you to think and study the word of God. The book is most valuable in a curriculum setting or for those interested in Christian apologetics. Jesus is compared to a myriad of other secular philosophies both past and present and as a result it is conclusively obvious that Jesus is the way, truth and the life and all others are false. This book stands on the foundation that a relationship with God thru Christ is by faith alone (Sola Fide), by grace alone (Sola Gratia), by Christ alone (Solus Christus), by scripture alone (Sola Scriptura) and with glory to God alone (Soli Deo Gloria). Dr. Ronald N Bish, ThD. received his Doctorate from Freedom Bible College in Systematic Theology and Apologetics and also holds a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
