But having escaped death twice, getting it there without being seen is only the third of the Major’s problems, which culminate when Ud, the Indonesian firebrand behind the arsonists, is persuaded by the mercenary, who finding his island lair is about to have his throat cut, to carry out a last ditch attempt to save the world from catastrophe – ending in victory.
