Book excerpt: Smith Wigglesworth: "It is a wonderful thing to pray in the Spirit and to sing in the Spirit, praying in TONGUES and singing in TONGUES as the Spirit of God gives you utterance.""God has ordained this speaking in an unknown TONGUE unto Himself as a wonderful, supernatural means of communication in the Spirit."*I believe in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the speaking in TONGUES, and I believe that every man who is baptized in the Holy Ghost will speak in other TONGUES as the Spirit gives him utterance. I believe in the Holy Ghost. And if you are filled with the Spirit you will be super abounding in life-living waters will flow from you.*I thank God He baptizes with the Holy Ghost. I know He did it for me because they heard me speak in TONGUES and then I heard myself. That was a scriptural work, and I don't want anything else, because I must be the epistle of God. There must be emanating through my body a whole epistle of the life, of the power, and the resurrection of my Lord Jesus, There are wonderful things happening through this divine union with God Himself.*TONGUES and interpretation. "It is that which God hath chosen for us, which is mightier than we. It is that which is bottomless, higher than the heights, more lovely than all beside. And God in a measure presses you out to believe all things that you may endure ail things, and lay hold of eternal life through the power of the Spirit.

Download or read book Smith Wigglesworth on God's Power written by Smith Wigglesworth and published by Whitaker House. This book was released on 2000-06-15 with total page 159 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An encounter with Smith Wigglesworth was an unforgettable experience. This seems to be the universal reaction of all who knew him or heard him speak. Wigglesworth was a simple man, a former plumber, who was used in an extraordinary way by our extraordinary God. During his forty years of ministry, thousands of people came to salvation, received the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and were miraculously healed. These miracles included the restoration of hearing and sight, the creative formation of missing limbs, the disappearance of cancerous growths, the recovery of mental wholeness by the violently insane, and the raising of several people from the dead. The miracle-working power of his ministry is captured in this classic collection of Wigglesworth's sermons and Bible studies. Despite the passing years, they still retain the spontaneous supernatural anointing that would cause Wigglesworth to loudly proclaim his favorite phrase: "Only believe!"

This book was released on 2012-12-04 with total page 200 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “You will have the privilege to see and to participate in the most glorious and mightiest sweeping revival that has ever been known in Christian history!” —Smith Wigglesworth This revelation was part of a prophecy given in 1936 by legendary evangelist and healing minister Smith Wigglesworth to a young man named David du Plessis. The revival Wigglesworth foresaw was a continuation of the Pentecostal movement into the charismatic renewal that continues to this day. Later, in 1961, God gave Rev. Tommy Hicks a vision of the continuation of that revival: a worldwide movement in which the “Awakening Giant”—the body of Christ—receives spiritual power and authority on such a scale as has not been seen since the book of Acts. This book retells these two amazing prophecies in their entirety and also discusses their implications for the world today. The revival of God’s church continues, but it won’t be complete until every Spirit-filled believer understands his or her unique role in its fulfillment. Study these prophecies and ask God to reveal how He would use you to bring the greatest revival in history to completion.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Although Christians often feel defeated and victimized by Satan and his minions, Scripture says that we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus and that it's possible to live without giving Satan any ground. So why don't more Christians experience spiritual victory and power? CHUCK D. PIERCE says it's because we spend more time licking our wounds than we do studying Satan's sniper strategies so that we can find the shooter. The key to overcoming our enemy is to become more shrewd in recognizing his strategies, to pray in specific ways that help us to overcome Satan's attacks, and to wear the armour described in Ephesians 6. As we learn to pray with power and authority prayers of submission, confrontation, faith, wisdom, breakthrough and more, we can larn to outwit the enemy of our souls.
Book Synopsis Ever Increasing Faith by : Smith Wigglesworth
Download or read book Ever Increasing Faith written by Smith Wigglesworth and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2005-02-26 with total page 130 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Smith Wigglesworth was born to a very poor family. At the age of six he had to go to work. As a consequence, he never learned to read well until he was an adult. He became a plumber by trade. As a minister, Wigglesworth was hardly known outside of his hometown until 1907. In 1907, he received the baptism in the Holy Ghost, which changed his life forever. It was then, at the age of 48, that God moved Wigglesworth from a small relatively unknown ministry to conducting powerful meetings throughout the world, stirring the faith of thousands to receive healing and salvation. Wigglesworth would usually conclude a sermon by praying for the sick; regardless of what text he had ministered. Smith Wigglesworth's ministry centred on salvation for the unconverted, healing for the sick, and a call to believers to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. He was filled with God...with love, compassion, and faith. On March 12, 1947, Smith Wigglesworth, in perfect health, closed his eyes and slipped into eternity, at the age of 87.
