Wichtig ist bei diesem Punkt zu beachten, welche Rolle die vermittelnden Personen dabei spielen und wie die Herangehensweise optimal gestaltet werden kann, damit eine erfolgreiche Sexualerziehung im Bereich der Schule möglich wird. Sexualität ist in unserer Gesellschaft ein omnipräsentes Thema. Schüler und Schülerinnen sind regelrecht mit dem Thema „Sexualität“ konfrontiert. Die Begegnung mit „Sexualität“ findet nicht nur in Form von potenziellen Partnern im sozialen Umfeld und der eigenen Altersgruppe statt. Ebenso ist das Thema Sexualität ein wichtiges Lern- und Erziehungsthema für Lehrer und Lehrerinnen. Hier stellt sich die Frage, wie sich diese beiden Punkte vereinbaren lassen. Das Thema Sexualität ist gerade für die Jugendlichen ein sehr spannendes und neues Thema. Dieses Thema in Verbindung mit dem doch öffentlichen Raum Schule in Zusammenhang zu bringen, wirkt auf den ersten Blick sehr gegensätzlich.

Bedarfe, Wünsche und Notwendigkeiten, besonders unter dem Aspekt des technologischen Wandels, werden ermittelt.
