The playbook helps the team visualize targets, understand the continuous improvement model, and know what is needed to achieve goals to be successful. The major steps of the workflow are defined and the specific activities in each area are outlined. Michael Gerber, author of The E-Myth describes in his book, "figuring out your primary aim". He explains that the strategic objective is "a very clear statement of what your business has to ultimately do for you to achieve your primary aim." He holds an M.B.A. from Lake Erie College and a Doctorate in Leadership from the School of Business and Technology at Capella University. Michael has graduated with the highest honors "Summa Cum Laude" from Capella University. He completed his dissertation utilizing qualitative methodology and the phenomenological approach. He has served as a special assistant to the legislative committee for the Lake and Geauga County Board of Realtors. Mike has achieved president's club status (sales volume) from 1998 to 2010 at various mortgage companies throughout the Midwest. He is a father of 4 children and married to Amy Zuren, who is dedicated to improving lives as a drug and alcohol counselor. Michael also is a member of numerous volunteer organizations.
