Book excerpt: The Redemption section is the final section of your story, and it is where Claire confronts her own inner darkness and chooses the path of light. Claire has been haunted by visions of the future, where she is all-powerful but also all alone, a universe devoid of free thought or emotion. She has also been struggling with her alliance with Sybil and Mordok, who she knows are not to be trusted. In the Redemption section, Claire finally breaks free from Sybil's control and confronts Mordok. She defeats him in a battle of magic, and she then uses her power to restore balance to the universe. Claire's redemption is not easy. She has to confront her own darkness and make difficult choices. But in the end, she chooses the path of light, and she saves the universe. The Redemption section is an important part of your story because it shows Claire's growth and transformation. She starts out as a character who is lost and confused, but she eventually finds her way and becomes a hero. Here is a more detailed summary of the Redemption section: Claire confronts Sybil and accuses her of manipulating her. Sybil admits that she has been using Claire to achieve her own dark goals, but she says that Claire is still too weak to defeat her. Claire uses her magic to break free from Sybil's control. She then attacks Sybil, and they engage in a battle of magic. Claire is initially overwhelmed by Sybil's power, but she eventually gains the upper hand. She defeats Sybil and kills her. Claire then turns her attention to Mordok. She knows that he is the real threat, and she must defeat him in order to save the universe. Claire and Mordok engage in a battle of magic. Claire is again initially overwhelmed, but she eventually finds a way to defeat him. She uses her magic to seal Mordok away in a prison realm, where he can never harm anyone again. With Mordok defeated, Claire is able to restore balance to the universe. She uses her magic to heal the wounds that have been inflicted on the world, and she brings hope back to the people. Claire's redemption is complete. She has defeated her enemies and restored balance to the universe. She is now a hero, and she will continue to use her power to protect the innocent and fight for justice.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: All was perverted in the earth from man to beast under Satans totalitarian rule; men who were novices to wickedness now breathe it with proficiency with the iniquitous philosophies of Lucifer and the undergirding of his celestial subordinates. The pre-Adamites became Satans calamitous disembodied spirits. God would unreservedly destroy the world with a flood. His creation has become mutinous, a decadence of men and a hosts of celestial subordinates; Satan has weakened the nations. Now the Architect of Darkness has schematically designed in his heart to dethrone God in an insurgence like no other! In this scholarly exploration of the mysteries of our past and present world, Dr. Angela Croone considers the topics of history, paleontology, science, physics, climatic change, and accurate theology as they relate to the Genesis Gap. This term refers to the world before the present time that existed between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2, whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished. Croone examines related biblical texts and their implications in controversial issues regarding both our past and our present. Meticulously researched and thoroughly presented, Galgaliel Angels and D[a]emons provides a better understanding of our historyits light and its darkness.

Book excerpt: In this monograph, I argue that Satan was not perceived as a universal malevolent deity, the embodiment of evil, or the “ruler of Pandemonium” within first century Christian literature or even within second and third century Christian discourses as some scholars have insisted. Instead, for early “Christian” authors, Satan represented a pejorative term used to describe terrestrial, tangible, and concrete social realities, perceived of as adversaries. To reach this conclusion, I explore the narrative character of Satan selectively within the Hebrew Bible, intertestamental literature, Mark, Matthew, Luke, Q, the Book of Revelation, the Nag Hammadi texts, and the Ante-Nicene fathers. I argue that certain scholars’ such as Jeffrey Burton Russell, Miguel A. De La Torre, Albert Hernandez, Peter Stanford, Paul Carus, and Gerd Theissen, homogenized reconstructions of the “New Testament Satan” as the universalized incarnation of evil and that God’s absolute cosmic enemy is absent from early Christian orthodox literature, such as Mark, Matthew, Luke, Q, the Book of Revelation, and certain writings from the Ante-Nicene Fathers. Using Jonathan Z. Smith’s essay Here, There, and Anywhere, I suggest that the cosmic dualist approach to Satan as God’s absolute cosmic enemy resulted from the changing social topography of the early fourth century where Christian “insider” and “outsider” adversaries were diminishing. With these threats fading, early Christians universalized a perceived chaotic cosmic enemy, namely Satan, being influenced by the Gnostic demiurge, who disrupts God’s terrestrial and cosmic order. Therefore, Satan transitioned from a “here,” “insider,” and “there,” “outsider,” threat to a universal “anywhere” threat. This study could be employed as a characterization study, New Testament theory and application for classroom references or research purposes.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many Christians think of end times prophecy as a gigantic, intimidating puzzle -- difficult to piece together and impossible to figure out. But every puzzle can be solved if you approach it the right way. Paul Benware compares prophecy to a picture puzzle. Putting the edge pieces together first builds the 'framework' that makes it easier to fit the other pieces in their place. According to Benware, the framework for eschatology is the biblical covenants. He begins his comprehensive survey by explaining the major covenants. Then he discusses several different interpretations of end times prophecy. Benware digs into the details of the Rapture, the Great Tribulation, the judgements and resurrections, and the millennial kingdom. But he also adds a unique, personal element to the study, answering questions as: -Why study bible prophecy? -What difference does it make if I'm premillenial or amillenial? If what the Bible says about the future puzzles you, Understanding End Times Prophecy will help you put together the pieces and see the big picture.

Many sit like Job with the mentality that God has forsaken them. Due to a lack of knowledge of what is included in the Atonement, some believe that their sickness and disease is the will of God. Why is there so little difficulty believing that we have freedom from sin's power in the Atonement, and so much controversy believing that it includes freedom from the power of sickness and disease? God has impressed my heart that his soldiers are settling for less than what he has promised in his word. Many are deficient in a knowledge of Scripture. Others have been taught wrong doctrine and are ignorant of God's promises (which belong to his children). This book is meant to give the understanding that it is God's will for us to recognize what the devil is doing and overcome his lies by faith. The Holy Spirit has been trying to set the captive free from sickness and disease, but wrong doctrine, misunderstanding of Scripture, and medical science have God's soldiers tormented by Satan's lies. This book addresses the devil's lies and is meant to once and for all set the captive free.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Spiritual warfare is not a church fad. Rather, it is the rediscovery of biblical Christianity. Furthermore, one will not grasp what the Bible teaches until one comprehends what it affirms about spiritual warfare. In truth, spiritual warfare permeates the entire Bible. When one learns to read the Scriptures through the lens of spiritual warfare, one will discern the mission of God, understand the kingdom of God, and be able to participate in the work of God. As a professional theologian, seminary professor, and spiritual warfare practitioner, Bill Payne believes that the church will not make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20) until it operationalizes what the Bible teaches about spiritual warfare. As it orients the reader to the spiritual warfare mandate, Satan Exposed tackles the difficult passages of Scripture. In short, this book will change how you read the Bible, how you understand reality, and how you do ministry.

Some references to it have been positive, some negative. It appears to be important, and they'd like to know more about it. But they want a full, understandable explanation, not a simplistic one. What Is Reformed Theology? is an accessible introduction to beliefs that have been immensely influential in the evangelical church. In this insightful book, R. C. Sproul walks readers through the foundations of the Reformed doctrine and explains how the Reformed belief is centered on God, based on God's Word, and committed to faith in Jesus Christ. Sproul explains the five points of Reformed theology and makes plain the reality of God's amazing grace.

Book excerpt: James Kallas presents the real Satan by examining who Satan is in both Old and New Testaments. Many will want to scoff at the idea that Satan exists at all, precisely because their image of Satan is relegated to the ways in which he is depicted, particularly in the New Testament. There, Satan's presence caused people to be blind, deaf, lame, as well as to foam at the mouth, scream out obscenities, and roll in the fire. Others will take Satan's power too seriously by making too much of his power, as if Satan is even more powerful than Jesus Christ. James Kallas presents a balanced study of the ways in which Satan is manifest in such contemporary places and activities as drug and alcohol abuse, atheism, and in satanic worship. The Real Satan uniquely and seriously addresses Satan's presence and power, yet with even more seriousness this book points to the assurance that Jesus Christ is victorious over Satan and all evil powers.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book was written to edify my readers who really wanted to have a first-class knowledge of how Lucifer, who became Satan, fell from grace. The Bible stated that jealousy is a great sin when conceived in the heart, and this is what led to his downfall. He was a man of pride, wisdom, and beauty and this is what filled his heart to believe that he can be like the Most High God to rule this universe. He overstepped his bounds and led a coup to overthrow God from His throne. This was considered to be treason, and his rebellion was put down swiftly. With this in mind, it shows the Creator still allowed him to live and the fallen angels were put in chains, reserved for judgment. Satan once again carried out his attack in the garden and deceived our first parents and stripped Adam from his divine power over the animal world. The truth written in this book is to show that Satan is a real person and hates God and the human race and will do all within his power to destroy you and me. God, in His sublime glory, once again came to rescue us from Satan. Jesus is the hope of the world. He defeated Satan on the cross, buried and resurrected from the grave for our justification. He is coming again to defeat the enemies of God. Why not give Him a chance in your life?
