Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from The Revelation of John On the other hand, if he be possessed of that special information which should qualify the inter preter for his office, another snare is waiting to trap him as we shall see. Study of Eastern religions and philosophies has revealed to many investigators that the pure, and noble, and uplifting, is not the sole property of Christianity. This discovery has some times resulted in a belittling of Jesus the Christ, whereas he is the chief cornerstone of that Temple of Truth into which many great and dedicated lives have been builded. This being so, let the qualified interpreter refrain from substituting for the name of Jesus Christ that of another, however exalted. If to such an interpreter the book of Revelation seem only a series of chapters taken from the initiatory rites of the Ancient Mysteries, it must be admitted that, for reasons to be explained presently, his ingenuity and special knowledge can make the book conform in a way to his theory, but it should be said that his meanings, however plausible, will be only secondary and, at a time like the present, his giving will be but a stone to those who cry for bread. Reve lation deals with world-happenings, in fact with the renovation of the human race and the earth itself, and not with that merely personal development for which the Mysteries existed, and which is only a type, the little likeness of the large. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Victory through Revelation: Overcoming the Antichrist Spirit is written for those of us who believe in the power of God to fashion our lives contrary to compromising influences and disturbing world events. As the title suggests, each of us can experience the revelation of Jesus Christ to bring us into complete victory, even over the most deceptive human philosophy. Many authors present the events described in the book of Revelation outside the context of the book. Victory through Revelation: Overcoming the Antichrist Spirit upholds the unity of Revelation, so we as servants of Christ can hear what He is saying to us in connection to the events seen by the apostle John. Because of the focus on Gods power to transform us into His conquering people, Victory through Revelation also opens a fresh understanding of the last days. It introduces a paradigm to shift us as individuals and the church of the twenty-first century from living in struggle and defeat to experiencing victory upon victory. Victory through Revelation shows how achieving victory through the revelation of Christ is essential for living daily for God in an increasingly immoral and godless world, and it underscores the guarantee of our eternal victory no matter what transpires. Those of us who want the power of the revelation of Christ to raise us to life in order to escape the things that are about to come upon the world would do well to read Victory through Revelation: Overcoming the Antichrist Spirit.

Book excerpt: The doctrine of the Antichrist is one of the most interesting doctrines found in Scripture, says author Kim Riddlebarger. Unfortunately, it's also one which has been subject to far more speculation than sound biblical exegesis. Until now. Unlike other resources available on the Antichrist, The Man of Sin focuses on Scripture, not contemporary events, to uncover the truth about this mysterious entity. With skilled exegesis Riddlebarger asserts that, contrary to popular speculation, the Antichrist is not a singular individual but a series of beings that will arise to challenge Christ throughout the inter-advental age before culminating in an end-times Antichrist. Backing this claim first in Scripture, Riddlebarger also draws from historical teachings including those of the church fathers, the Reformation, and historic Protestantism, before contrasting this evidence to the sensational interpretations of many contemporary writers. Pastors, teachers, and study groups wanting to understand the doctrine of the Antichrist will find The Man of Sin to be a unique and comprehensive study.

God has foreknowledge and has determined the future events that will take place during Satans time on earth. Revelation was written to warn mankind what God has determined for the future. Those who have remained faithful to God will not be harmed during the tribulation and distress. Revelation and the Antichrist is the climax of the story of Gods redeeming plan.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from The Book of Revelation In ordinary circumstances one who undertakes to comment upon a book of the New Testament may be justly expected to make every effort to explain each successive clause and each difficult expression of the book on which he writes. My aim in the following Commentary is rather to catch the general import and object of the Revelation of St. John considered as a whole. The latter purpose indeed cannot be attained unless the commentator has himself paid faithful attention to the former; but it is not necessary that the results of these inquiries should in every case be presented to the English reader. To him this book is for the most part a perplexity and enigma, and he would only be embarrassed by a multitude of details. It seemed well, therefore, to treat the book in its sections and paragraphs rather than verse by verse; and this is the course pursued in the following pages. The translation used is for the most part that of the Revised Version. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book of Revelation is the most mysterious and controversial book of the Bible. Yet, God intended that Christians be enriched by its enduring message. Even though Revelation has a blessing for those who read it, many believers still avoid this inspired book. Could one reason be they have been taught that most of Revelation does not apply to Christians? In this first volume of The End Time Apologetics Series, the author challenges the pretribulation rapture position and uncovers how many Christians may not be prepared for prophetic events to come. Although many promote pretrib as a fact, in reality it’s a “theory” that gained traction in America in the 19th century. Further popularized after being published in an immensely popular reference bible, pretrib quickly became the preferred rapture position. As we see prophetic fulfillment happening in the Middle East and around the world, the real question is “What happens if the pretrib rapture theory is wrong?” How will Christians respond if the Church is not raptured before prophetic events occur? Will history repeat itself? Will there be a group of modern-day Thessalonians whose faith will be shaken? In this powerful book, discover how facts concerning the Antichrist, Angels, and the Abyss, are a game-changer for the pretribulation rapture position. Learn what effect it would have if the Holy Spirit is not the restrainer of Second Thessalonians. See actual correspondence between the author and two of the most esteemed Dispensational scholars who made some surprising admissions about who’s really restraining the Antichrist. Will end time events actually turn out as portrayed in the Left Behind series? Will Christians be prepared for the perilous times to come? What could trigger the great falling away? Be forewarned, those who have ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to Christians concerning the Antichrist, Angels, and the Abyss.
