A lo largo del libro iremos viendo diversas teorías y modelos, los más conocidos ya que si no se nos haría interminable, que explican los procesos que rigen la adquisición y modificación de las habilidades motrices (aprendizaje motor). Por último trataremos el proceso que sigue todo aprendizaje, así como muchos de los elementos y agentes que influyen.

La connotación afectiva se evidencia más aún cuando el autor contempla procesos de feedback.
