Si se piensa detenidamente, este problema de la escritura se convierte en cuatro problemas. El primero tiene que ver con las ideas que se quieren expresar y el modo en cómo se deben ordenar al interior de un texto para que sea coherente. El segundo está relacionado con los tipos de textos que se producirán y los parámetros básicos de éstos. El tercero se liga al conflicto de la redacción y la ortografía, asunto que cuesta mucho trabajo entre los jóvenes. Y el último se relaciona con el difícil aspecto de normas de presentación, citación y referencia bibliográfica, también muy equívoco entre los estudiantes. Este trabajo tiene dos finalidades. La primera de ellas es crear conciencia en el lector de todo lo que representa el proceso de escritura, para que se quite la "telaraña" de que escribir es poner algunas vocales y consonantes unas con otras, y que se dé cuenta de que tras un texto bien escrito hay varios pasos ordenados, todos con una sola finalidad. La segunda es brindar algunas herramientas prácticas para acabar con los diferentes problemas que se presentan al momento de escribir.
