Book Synopsis Qabalah -The Book of Enoch - The Book of Watchers by : Steven Ashe
Download or read book Qabalah -The Book of Enoch - The Book of Watchers written by Steven Ashe and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2008-06-01 with total page 122 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Deluxe 1st Hardback Edition with an introduction by Steven Ashe, author of Qabalah of 50 Gates. The Book of Enoch describes the fall of the Watchers who fathered the Nephilim. The fallen angels then went to Enoch to intercede on their behalf with God. The remainder of the book describes Enoch's visit to Heaven in the form of a vision, and his revelations. The Book of Enoch, written during the second century B.C.E., is one of the most important non-canonical apocryphal works, and probably had a huge influence on early Christian, particularly Gnostic, beliefs. Filled with hallucinatory visions of heaven and hell, angels and devils, Enoch introduced concepts such as fallen angels, the appearance of a Messiah, Resurrection, a Final Judgement, and a Heavenly Kingdom on Earth. Interspersed with this material are quasi-scientific digressions on calendrical systems, geography, cosmology, astronomy, and meteorology.

Book Synopsis The Mystical Qabalah by : Dion Fortune
Download or read book The Mystical Qabalah written by Dion Fortune and published by Youcanprint. This book was released on 2017-02-09 with total page 398 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Tree of Life forms the ground-plan of the Western Esoteric Tradition and is the system upon which pupils are trained in the Fraternity of the Inner Light. The transliteration of Hebrew words into English is the subject of much diversity of opinion, every scholar appearing to have his own system. In these pages I have availed myself of the alphabetical table given by MacGregor Mathers in The Kabbalah Unveiled because this book is the one generally used by esoteric students. He himself does not adhere to his own table systematically, however, and even uses different spellings for the same words. This is very confusing for anyone who wishes to use the Gematric method of elucidation, in which letters are turned into numbers. When, therefore, Mathers gives alternative trans literations, I have followed the one which coincides with that given in his own table. The capitalisation employed in these pages may also appear unusual, but it is the one traditionally used among students of the Western Esoteric Tradition. In this system, common words, such as earth or path, are used in a technical sense to denote spiritual principles. When this is done, a capital is used to indicate the fact. When a capital is not used, it may be taken that the word is to be understood in its ordinary sense. As I have frequently referred to the authority of MacGregor Mathers and Aleistet Crowley in matters of Qabalistic mysticticism, it may be as well to explain my position in relation to these two writers. I was at one time a member of the organisation founded by the former, but have never been associated with the latter. I have never known either of these gentlemen personally, MacGregor Mathers having died before I joined his organisation, and Aleister Crowley having then ceased to be associated with it. The Society of the Inner Light, founded by the late Dion Fortune, has courses for those who wish seriously to pursue the study of the Western Esoteric Tradition. Information about the society may be obtained by writing to the address below. Please enclose British stamps or international postal coupons in your letter if you wish a response...

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Practical Magic techniques of the Golden Dawn revealed! Founded in 1888, by legendary magicians Wynn Westcott and S.L. MacGregor Mathers, the Golden Dawn has been a major influence on the development of Western Magic. Although the material which inspired adepts such as Alistair Crowley and W.B Yeats has been available, until now there has been little explaination as to how this group performed its rites of ritual magic. Now at last Pat Zalewski, himself an adept within the Golden Dawn system, has revealed secrets that have never before been published or which were only communicated orally to a handful of select pupils. For years people have known that the Golden Dawn adepts could summon spirits so that they could be seen, but no one could explain how they did it. Likewise their techniques of manufacturing and empowering talismans were a closely guarded secret until now. In this book readers will learn the secrets of evocation and how to make Talismans of Power.
