Under the authors the collected editions are given first, then the editions of separate plays in chronological order of the first dated editions. For convenience of reference the translations from Seneca published in the collected plays of that author in 1581 appear under his name; otherwise translations will be found under the name of the translator with a cross-reference from the author in the Index of Authors.
