Diese Erweiterung des internationalen Datenvorrats wurde inzwischen offiziell verabschiedet in Bezug auf das spezifische Volumen und die spezifische Enthalpie mit den zugehörigen Toleranzen von 0 Grad Celsius bis 800 Grad Celsius und von 1 bar bis 10.000 bar. Auch die entsprechenden Daten für die Transportgrößen Viskosität und Wärmeleitfähigkeit wurden revidiert. Für die Viskosität wurde eine neue Gleichung für den industriellen Gebrauch angegeben. Mit dieser und den schon bestehenden Gleichungen lassen sich neue Tafeln für Viskosität, Wärmeleitfähigkeit und Prandtl-Zahl berechnen. Für den Sättigungsbereich wurde ein Satz einfacher Gleichungen zur Berechnung des Dampfdrucks, der Dichte, der spezifischen Enthalpie und der spezifischen Entropie mitgeteilt, der besonders für industrielle Rechnungen geeignet ist. Die mit diesen Gleichungen berechneten Werte für die Dichte und die spezifische Enthalpie sind identisch mit den entsprechenden Werten der Rahmentafeln 1985. Alle erwähnten Verbesserungen und Erweiterungen wurden in diesen Nachdruck aufgenommen. Der Kern dieses Tafelwerks, die nach "The 1967 IFC Formulation for Industrial Use" berechneten thermodynamischen Zustandsgrößen, wurde unverändert übernommen, da diese Formulation sich für Berechnungen in der Praxis voll bewährt hat. So steht mit dieser Ausgabe wiederum ein konsistenter Satz von Gleichungen und Tafeln für den industriellen Gebrauch zur Verfügung.
