Book Synopsis Computers and Education in the 21st Century by : Manuel Ortega
Download or read book Computers and Education in the 21st Century written by Manuel Ortega and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2007-05-08 with total page 315 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: ConieD is the biannual Congress on Computers in Education, organised by the Spanish Association for the Development of Computers in Education (ADIE). The last Congress, held in Puertollano (Ciudad Real), brought together researchers in different areas, ranging from web applications, educational environments, or Human-Computer Interaction to Artificial Intelligence in Education. The common leitmotiv of the major part of the lectures was the World Wide Web. In particular, the focus was on the real possibilities that this media presents in order to make the access of students to educational resources possible anywhere and anytime. This fact was highlighted in the Conclusions of the Congress following this Preface as the Introduction. From the full 92 papers presented to the Programme Committee we have selected the best 24 papers that we are presenting in this book. The selection of papers was a very difficult process, taking into account that the papers presented in the Congress (60) were all good enough to appear in this book. Only the restrictions of the extension of this book have limited the number of papers to 24. These papers represent the current high-quality contributions of Spanish research groups in Computers in Education. Manuel Ortega Cantero José Bravo Rodríguez Editors xiii Introduction ConieD’99 (1st National Congress on Computers in Education) has brought together a very important group of Spanish and Latin American researchers devoted to studying the application and use of computers in education.

Book Synopsis Simulación y electrónica analógica by : Manuel A. Castro Gil
Download or read book Simulación y electrónica analógica written by Manuel A. Castro Gil and published by Editorial Ra-Ma. This book was released on 2006 with total page 507 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
Book Synopsis Learning the Art of Electronics by : Thomas C. Hayes
Download or read book Learning the Art of Electronics written by Thomas C. Hayes and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2016-03-02 with total page 1150 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This introduction to circuit design is unusual in several respects. First, it offers not just explanations, but a full course. Each of the twenty-five sessions begins with a discussion of a particular sort of circuit followed by the chance to try it out and see how it actually behaves. Accordingly, students understand the circuit's operation in a way that is deeper and much more satisfying than the manipulation of formulas. Second, it describes circuits that more traditional engineering introductions would postpone: on the third day, we build a radio receiver; on the fifth day, we build an operational amplifier from an array of transistors. The digital half of the course centers on applying microcontrollers, but gives exposure to Verilog, a powerful Hardware Description Language. Third, it proceeds at a rapid pace but requires no prior knowledge of electronics. Students gain intuitive understanding through immersion in good circuit design.

Download or read book World Editors written by Gustavo Guerrero and published by Walter de Gruyter GmbH & Co KG. This book was released on 2020-12-16 with total page 375 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The existence of World Literature depends on specific processes, institutions, and actors involved in the global circulation of literary works. The contributions of this volume aim to pay attention to these multiple material dimensions of Latin American 20th and 21st century literatures. From perspectives informed by materialism, sociology, book studies, and digital humanities, the articles of this volume analyze the role of publishing houses, politics of translation, mediators and gatekeepers, allowing insights into the processes that enable books to cross borders and to be transformed into globally circulating commodities. The book focusses both on material (re)sources of literary archives, key actors in literary and cultural markets, prizes and book fairs, as well as on recent dimension of the digital age. Statements of some of the leading representatives of the global publishing world complement these analyses of the operations of selection and aggregation of value to literary texts.
Book Synopsis The Future of New Testament Textual Scholarship by : Garrick V. Allen
Download or read book The Future of New Testament Textual Scholarship written by Garrick V. Allen and published by . This book was released on 2019 with total page 523 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume fundamentally re-examines textual approaches to the New Testament and its manuscripts in the age of digital editing and media. Using the eccentric work of Herman Charles Hoskier as a shared foundation for analysis, contributors examine the intellectual history of New Testament textual scholarship and the production of critical editions, identify many avenues for further research, and discuss the methods and protocols for producing the most recent set of editions of the New Testament: the Editio Critica Maior . Instead of comprising the minute refinement of a basically acceptable text, textual scholarship on the New Testament is a vibrant field that impinges upon New Testament Studies in unexpected and unacknowledged ways. -- ‡c From publisher's description.

Book Synopsis Fabián Marcaccio by : Fabian Marcaccio
Download or read book Fabián Marcaccio written by Fabian Marcaccio and published by Ediciones Polígrafa S.A.. This book was released on 2014 with total page 232 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Throughout Fabian Marcaccio's prolific career, spanning from the beginning of the nineties to the present, his extraordinary work appears as a field of experimentation, research, and analysis on the capability, the will, and the perseverance of the traditional medium that is "painting" to survive in today's context. By this, we mean the technological innovations of this computing-saturated digital era, all of which have modified deeply our way of perceiving and articulating the world in which we live. 'Variants' attempts to bring us closer to the variants of Marcaccio's generative and multifaceted universe, a universe in constant change, which the artist has developed step by step, conceptually, physically, and visually, as a response to pictorial entropy. He has developed a challenging and rigorous practice that ranges from transfer prints and digital and industrial techniques to the pictorial processes involved in spatial representation and their extension into the realms of sculpture and architecture. The result is a painting practice that is in constant expansion: sometimes environmental, sometimes three-dimensional and clearly sculptural, sometimes in the form of animation, and, on many other occasions, as transition and mutation. This is the first comprehensive monographs on the large-scale works and the writings by Fabian Marcaccio. His works is currently on view at the main museums and collections: Sammlung Goetz (Munich), Daros Latinamerica (Zurich/Rio de Janeiro), Philadelphia Museum of Art (Philadelphia), Museum of Modern Art (New York). 110 photos
