It includes a variety of poems such as " The Beauty Of God", "Woman", "The Hands Of A Man" and "Stop This World" to name a few. The poems speak to the human experience and how that experience intersects and connects to Jesus Christ. From the beginning of time, words have been found to be a powerful element; that started with God speaking this universe into existence. Disagreements and more have occurred because of ill spoken words between people. However, the words of Poetic Stepping-Stones Of Faith are meant for the reader's enjoyment. It is the writer's belief that the poems will aid in connecting people with a thread of humanity that is common to all human beings. We all may have had experiences that bring joy, sadness, loss, etc. The poetry in the book is to help us get a greater glimpse of Jesus Chris and what He offers us as we live this life on earth. These poems reflect the day to day struggling, living, and overcoming to obtain the victory. Christ is ever near, standing by ready to give us that extra courage and energy to take that next leap to the stepping stone. Stepping Stones Of Faith is a book that reflects to us the encouragement of Christ when we feel overwhelmed whether we're a believer or unbeliever. I believe this book will lift the human spirit and impart the love of Jesus Christ through the poems. This book includes poems that relate to our past, expressions of our present, and hints related to our future. May all who read this book gain insights into the precious love that God has for all human beings; and. May people come to know a little more about the goodness of Christ through the reading of Poetic Stepping-Stones Of Faith!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Poetry is the world's oldest universal form of literature. Every nation and every culture has some form of poetry. Poems are usually the first stepping stone in songs and even fiction. In fact, before there was ink and papyrus to write the first books of the Bible, Passages where made into poems that fathers sang regularly to their sons, word for word, for dozens of generations. There are those who have dared to create strict guidelines to determine what is poetry and what is not. Such individuals would denigrate the beautiful art of poets like William Carlos Williams, Vladimir Mayakovsky, and myself. As long as a work has meaning and comes from the heart, the mind, or even the stomach, it is poetry. Even if it is four lines with blunt language or 10 pages with flowery language, it is poetry--something to appreciate, to share, and to write.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Seeker Psalms: A Journey of Rediscovery and Faith "Seeker Psalms" is a beautifully crafted collection of poetry that embarks on an intimate journey of rediscovering faith and trust in God's divine plan. Through the power of poetic expression, the book delves deep into the human soul, exploring the intricate process of seeking peace amidst life's trials and tribulations. The book opens with a sense of longing and questioning, mirroring the reader's own spiritual journey. Each poem acts as a stepping stone, guiding the seeker through valleys of doubt and peaks of revelation. The language is evocative and raw, drawing the reader into a contemplative space where the heart and mind can ponder the mysteries of faith. As the title suggests, "Seeker Psalms" pays homage to the biblical Psalms, echoing their timeless themes of hope, despair, praise, and lamentation. The author masterfully intertwines these ancient motifs with contemporary experiences, creating a resonant and relatable narrative for modern readers. Each poem serves as a prayer, a meditation, or a moment of reflection, inviting readers to pause and consider their own spiritual path. The central theme of rediscovering faith is woven throughout the collection. The poems gently remind us that faith is not a static destination but a dynamic journey. They encourage readers to embrace their doubts and uncertainties as integral parts of their spiritual growth. Through vivid imagery and heartfelt verses, the author portrays the struggles and triumphs of a soul in search of divine connection. Trusting in God's plan is another pivotal theme in "Seeker Psalms." The poems explore the tension between human desire for control and the surrender required to truly trust in a higher power. They speak to the moments of surrender, where one must let go of fears and anxieties to embrace God's will. The language is both comforting and challenging, urging readers to relinquish their need for certainty and to find solace in the divine promise. Peace, as both a destination and a journey, is intricately explored in the book. The poems reflect the inner turmoil that often accompanies the search for peace and the profound sense of calm that comes from placing one's trust in God. The author captures the essence of this spiritual peace through serene and soothing verses that resonate with the soul. "Seeker Psalms" is not just a book of poetry; it is a spiritual companion for anyone on a journey of faith. It speaks to those who have felt the pangs of doubt, who have wrestled with their beliefs, and who seek a deeper understanding of their relationship with God. The book offers a safe haven for contemplation, a place where readers can reconnect with their spirituality and find reassurance in the divine plan. In conclusion, "Seeker Psalms" is a profound and moving collection that beautifully captures the essence of seeking, trusting, and finding peace in one's faith journey. It is a testament to the enduring power of poetry to heal, inspire, and guide the soul towards a deeper connection with the divine. Whether you are at the beginning of your spiritual quest or well along the path, this book offers wisdom, comfort, and hope, encouraging you to embrace the journey with an open heart and a trusting spirit.

Book excerpt: There are times in our lives, which I call stepping stones, when we are forced to pause from life's routines and focus solely on maintaining our balance before we can move forward. Some stepping stones are large, smooth and easy to spot, while others are jagged, uneven and partly covered. Stepping stones are meant to take us somewhere but we don't always know where they will lead. If we reach out to God, He will take each of us by the hand and lead us, one stepping stone at a time. Stepping Stones outlines some of the qualities God wants to develop in us and common pitfalls we might encounter as we grow deeper, bolder, and stronger in our faith. Included are personal stories from my life. God is guiding us into a deeper understanding of Himself and the magnitude of His love. When we allow God to take the lead in our lives, His love is so deep, so secure, and so creative that it opens up vistas of opportunity for us and empowers us to fully live out our God-given potential.

Book excerpt: Your Guide to Understanding the Stepping Stones to Peace relates to anyone trying to survive this large, busy, and much-too-often cruel world. This book is about you! It's about me! It's about them! It's about the world in which we must survive. This book is a guide to help the reader open a part of the mind that the events and commercialism of the world has closed. The twenty-one poems written over the course of nine years contain a hidden message that was even unknown to the author at the time of the writing. The book had to be written to bring peace of mind to the author. Eight years into the writings, the answer came. Along with it came unimaginable strength, guidance, wisdom, and peace. The author was able to see the hidden messages and give the guidance to expose these messages in the Reader's Guide. The Reader's Guide opens the writing to a depth of undeniable reality. The Guide will help the reader see things for what they really are and not what the reader wants them to be. Once the reader can see life clearly, the wisdom of the words will categorically change his or her life forever. Along with the writing of this book came a price. The author had to expose hidden skeletons that had laid deep in darkness for many years. The author points out a time when a moment of repentance and divine revelation laid a path that was clear to follow. With each step, another step came, and soon, these steps led to peace of mind and soul. The journey has revealed that we can all survive this dark world and live with joy and peace in God's world, filled with Light. The author's honest experiences will invite readers into the experience through her poetry and commentary on the reality of the Lord's presence in troubling times. This will bolster the faith of readers as they endure trial and suffering.

Book excerpt: Forgive in order to live is my motto. As a former victim of unforgiveness, I repeat this mantra to help me as well. My goal is to help others do the same. Because of my experiences as a child and as an adult, I was inspired to write Damaged Women, How to Rehabilitate, and Is It Discipline or Child Abuse? I want you to be inspired as you read this book of poems and scriptures titled Gods Gift. Oftentimes we cant say what we feel, but writing it down makes it easier. My objective is for you to know that you can survive through forgiving. Just enough faith can give you strength to make it. In Matthew 17:20, Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. He said just speak it, and no matter whats standing in your way, it shall be moved. Forgiveness is the first step in your healing process. Use your trials as stepping stones to a solid foundation. Keep believing and stay positive in everything you do; God will work it out for you. Im encouraged to move forward and remain hopeful of every situation that comes before me. From this point on, dont let anything hold you down; rebuke it and keep moving. My favorite poem is The Swinging Door. My favorite scripture is Psalm 34: I will bless the Lord at all times. He took me form the dirt and healed the hurt in me. Thanks to everyone in my life, and may God truly bless you.
