NAICS, as the North American Industry Classification System is known for short, is as applicable in countries far removed from North America, as it is in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. For trading purposes, NAICS serves as a model and a standard that provides guidelines for the production and delivery of services and products. There is hardly any product or service in the world that is not named in NAICS. People from other countries can use NAICS as a resource for trying to penetrate market niches in North America. In the same manner, people from North America can use NAICS for exporting products and services to other countries. NAICS facilitates the exchange of information about products and services. Initially, Active North American Industry Classification System is designed as a guide for the preparation and examination of entries in the TVTyme.net website.
