Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book attacks a poison that for so very long we have called political correctness. Political correctness (PC) is the act of avoiding expression or language that can perceptively be construed as marginalizing by specific minorities or demographic groups. It is often difficult to argue against PC, because supporters of PC are likely to claim that contrary to using PC, one would instead use expressions or language that offends, which is oft what I wind up doing. This response is a false conflation of permitting and condoning, but the fallaciousness usually doesn't deter those who want to win the argument. It's easy to accuse someone of simply seeking justification to use epithets in order to put him on the defensive and into the unenviable position of having to assert that he's not a racist. It's also dirty and hateful to do so, and that's how such responses should be considered. We also review Agenda 21, Document 7277, the Illuminati, the Club of Rome, and the Committee of 300 in brevity. We discuss the New World Order and speculate about megaregions and their locations both in the United States and abroad. We take a very long train ride from the most southern tip of South America all the way to New Zealand, and we discuss possibilities for a likely location for the capital of the world (that may surprise you). We even speculate about a location right here in the United States for a habitat for useless eaters. We discuss how close we have come in our society to achieve all the goals of the New World Order. I really hope you enjoy the read.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Ezidi people (Yezidi/Yazidi) and their culture suffered greatly at the hands of Daesh before, during, and after the 2014 Sinjar (Shingal) Genocide. Since the resulting forced migration, the Ezidi community as one of the most marginalised societies in the Middle East has undergone a significant amount of society-wide transformation. New avenues for agency have opened, and Shingali Ezidi women have taken these opportunities to express transformed identities, filling spaces previously unavailable, and altering “traditional” gender roles. This first extensive ethnographic work ever conducted with Ezidi women examines origins and developments of transformations in their female identity and agency. The analysis of their expressions and performances is particularly notable because of the subaltern position under numerous layers of minority, e.g. ethnicity, geography, religion, politics, culture, language, as well as gender. The aim of this study is to investigate the utilisation of subaltern identity to actualise agency among women after genocide.

Book excerpt: Kit Butler and Lige Turner are weathered trackers—trappers who once lived among the Dakota people as brothers, learning their language, their land, and their way of life. Now, with the fur trade dwindling, they find themselves guides for a wagon train—a group of emigrants leaving behind the comforts of the world they know for the Wild West. The problem is, they have to pass through hostile Dakota Indian territory to reach their destination. The members of the wagon train, fresh faces in a wild land, are certain that all this talk about Indians is just stories—a way to keep a control over them. After all, they haven’t seen any sign of Indians ... But Kit and Lige know what to look for, and they know they’re being watched. When the Indians brutally attack, the stories become a frightening reality. The Dakota warriors tell the emigrants that they must turn around or face their wrath—they will not be allowed to pass through Dakota territory. The emigrants have come too far to turn back, but they are not trained to fight—the women and children handily outnumbering the men in the group. Kit and Lige are the only ones who know how to survive out in the wild, and it is their duty to protect the wagon train against the Dakota men they still consider brothers.

Book excerpt: +++ Named One of Forbes Top 10 Books Of 2019 +++ "If you have become tired of spinning your wheels and watching clients leave without warning, this book will show you how to foster genuine interactions, such as through video, rather than pursuing one-off 'wow' moments." --Forbes Discover the 24 reasons people are leaving you for competitors and how to win them back. In Why Customers Leave, popular customer experience and marketing speaker David Avrin makes a compelling case for customer experience as a bankable differentiator in an era of vast marketplace choices. The book lays out the very visible reasons for the recent shift in customer mindset and expectation, illustrates the myriad ways that companies inadvertently drive customers and prospects to competitors, and offers a multitude of creative strategies and tactics to attract and retain new prospects. In the book, David explores and articulates the disturbing new dynamic that has arisen from easy-to-find, one-click-away, at-your-fingertips options: “We have become a world of impatient, intolerant and demanding customers, and we move on quickly if inconvenienced in any way. Don’t blame the millennials! We have seen the enemy, and it is all of us.”

Book excerpt: Patricia Sorbara has been a political operative for more than forty years—a mainstay in the background of both federal and provincial politics in Ontario, dedicating her career to the Liberal Party. She’s worked for and with Liberal Opposition Leaders, Premiers, Members of Parliament, Members of Provincial Parliament and more candidates than any staffer could imagine. Sorbara became known as the woman to have on side, the one who knows the ground game and never backs down from a challenge. In December of 2014, all of that changed. A potential candidate in Sudbury, ON, went to the media with the allegation that Sorbara, acting on behalf of the Party, had offered a bribe in exchange for stepping down from a nomination race. She was blindsided. While on trial in Sudbury in the fall of 2017, Sorbara found herself leaning on the unique education of decades in politics, one that came with being a lifelong female political staffer, which saw her through the first emotional moments of the trial to the eventual verdict nearly seven weeks later. But it didn’t end there. In Let ’Em Howl: Lessons from a Life in Backroom Politics, Sorbara shares her best lessons from the back room—the ones that sustained her in the darkest hours—illustrated by stories featuring key political figures in Canadian politics. The result is required reading for anyone interested in Canadian politics or government.
