This book was released on 2021-12-14 with total page 69 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Article 54 of the IHR request that States Parties and the Director-General shall report to the World Health Assembly (WHA) on the implementation of these Regulations as decided by the WHA. In 2008, the WHA, through the adoption of Resolution WHA61(2), and later on 2018 with the Resolution WHA71(15), confirmed that “that States Parties and the Director-General shall continue to report annually to the WHA on the implementation of the International Health Regulations (2005), using the self-assessment annual reporting tool”. The IHR State Party self-assessment annual reporting tool (SPAR) is intended to support State Parties to fulfil these obligations. The submission of IHR Annual Reports using the SPAR tool allows the WHO Secretariat to compile a consistent report for the WHA. The second edition of SPAR (2021) has 15 capacities and 35 indicators compared to 13 capacities and 24 indicators in the previous version used from 2018 to 2020 reporting periods. The summary of results from the annual reports have been used to report to the World Health Assembly since 64th WHA in 2010, and country profiles have been made available on the e-SPAR platform, the Strategic Partnership for Health Security and Emergency Preparedness (SPH) Portal and WHO Global Health Observatory (GHO) data web page.

The material has been updated to reflect the latest changes to major transportation resources such as the HCM, MUTCD, HSM, and more, including the most current ADA accessibility regulations. Planners are increasingly expected to adopt a more multi-disciplinary approach, especially in light of the rising importance of sustainability and environmental concerns. This book presents the fundamentals of transportation planning in a multidisciplinary context, giving readers a practical reference for day-to-day answers. Serve the needs of all users Incorporate safety into the planning process Examine the latest transportation planning software packages Get up to date on the latest standards, recommendations, and codes Developed by The Institute of Transportation Engineers, this book is the culmination of over seventy years of transportation planning solutions, fully updated to reflect the needs of a changing society. Book Synopsis Trust, Impact, and Fundraising for Nonprofits by : Kenneth H. Phillips
Download or read book Trust, Impact, and Fundraising for Nonprofits written by Kenneth H. Phillips and published by Taylor & Francis. This book was released on 2023-03-10 with total page 297 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Distilling decades of leadership expertise into an effective framework, this is a practical guidebook for nonprofits around the globe, with practical recommendations for the urgently needed steps to make this a better world. Charities in the United States and NGOs globally need to overcome two glaring and persistent weaknesses in the eyes of potential donors: trustworthiness and effectiveness. After examining possible causes for these deficits, fundraising and organizational development guru Ken Phillips guides readers through the process that leads to greater trust and respect by donors, better results for beneficiaries, significantly increased funding, and better and bigger programs. Alongside helpful worksheets, he presents seven steps to make sure ethics are meaningful, eight disciplines to ensure programs achieve good results, and a communications approach to demonstrate responsibility and accountability, all interwoven with inspiring case studies from his own international experience and other organizations’ stories. Staff and volunteers at registered nonprofits around the world, as well as any individual or group raising funds more informally, will value this guide to empower organizations to win trust, raise more funds, and achieve greater program impact.
