His address was replete with sound suggestions, enforced with a fervid style of expression, which characterizes all his public efforts. The candidates were individually catechised on the fundamental points of doctrine recognized by the Method ist-episcopal Church, and also as to their experimental status; and the ex amination concluded by the regular categorical challenge, insisted on year by year, Do you use tobacco in any form?
