Nothing more appropriate and touching could have occurred. She was accompanied by Mr. S. A. Ward at the organ. The addresses of both the orators of the evening were most attentively listened to and appreciated by the audience. Late in the evening the exercises of the day came to a close. A well-executed, complete and eloquent tribute to the honor and memory of a martyred President endeared in the hearts of fifty millions of people.
